Dinner at CRT?

Fist let me say that I am just happy I got a ressie for this because I missed the 180 day mark by almost a week!

We have a 5:25 dinner

from what I understand there is no character interaction during dinner right? Do they do anything else special? Or is it take your pic and then just sit down and eat. (Mind you I WANT to eat in the Castle ) Should I keep trying for a breakfast or lunch? We like the character meals because it entertains the kiddo's...the disney site really is not that specific. TIA for any additional info!

We did Dinner last year, you get called into a room and you meet Cindya and have your photo taken with her (i believe now you can also have these photos added to your photo pass). Then you go upstairs and are provided a sword or wand (adults get one too). At sometime during your dinner Suzy and Perla the girl mice stop by and then the fairy godmother comes out and does a show. Not much character interaction but if you have a late ressie you can see the fireworks from the show. Sometime during your dinner they deliver a set of photos to your table they are included with your dinner.
