Dinner at Coral Reef

Can someone please tell me about their experiences with dinner at the Coral Reef? We've never been there, but ever since the days of seeing it on Full House when they were at WDW, I've wanted to try it. We're thinking about doing the Candlelight Processional package there. Thanks!

My kids loved the Coral Reef with the aquarium. We were lucky and sat right next to it. My DS enjoyed using the list and trying to find all the different types of fish. We also had great service. The food was either very good (salads and dessert) or just okay (entrees). I have heard good things about the lobster bisque so next time I might get that, a salad, and the Chocolate Wave (my FAVORITE dessert). The atmosphere is great but not the best food at Epcot.

the Coral Reef is a fantastic placed for a meal. The food is good, the Lobster Bisque is excellent. The lobster tails are the best in the Orlando area IMHO.
I have eaten here a couple of times: it is pricey but an excellent value.

The only negative I have is the noise: due to the glass of the aquarium and the low ceiling, noise just bounces around the room. Not a place for a romantic dinner, but certainly a good family restaurant.

One note: seating anywhere in the Coral Reef is excellent as the seating in on tiers, each overlooking the tier below it: so everyone has a good view of the aquarium.

The chocolate wave is magnicifient. the make your own sundae is the smallest (smaller than baby size) I have ever seen.

The Coral Reef has become one of our new favorites. We ate there last May and again in October. The salmon is just great! Both times we have had excellent service! The Chocolate Wave is wonderful!
