We will be arriving at the wilderness lodge on Mother's day in may and my DH wants to take us all to artist point for dinner there (me, and our 4yr old twins). Is it too fancy for 4yr olds? I know that there is also the whispering canyons rest. there that is a little more family style. Anyone have an opinion on small kids at artist point?
Thanks

My DH and I were there this past Aug/Sep with our 5yr old DS and ate there twice. It was kid friendly and he was well behaved. I would choose an earlier seating because the quieter, romantic dinners are usually later. The food was excellent and our DS ate the most out of the whole trip. Go and enjoy!!

Hi there.. we had dinner at artist point in December and it was wonderful, when we were leaving we noticed there were tons of kids in the restaurant - I hadn't noticed or heard a peep.

Sure, take your 4 year old :)

Every restaurant at WDW, except Victoria & Alberts, has a kids' menu and you will see kids dining everywhere including Artist Point. I do however recommend that you eat one meal at Whispering Canyon as the kids will love the lincoln logs play table in the waiting area and the stick ponies that they ride to the table. There are also stick pony races. For mom's day, enjoy Artist Point.

Thanks for all the opinions, I think we will give it a try!
