I've just started planning our April vacation and wishing I had started sooner. What am I? A newbie??? (looks like!)

I may change my mind about which park, which day but right now it looks like we'll be at MK on Sunday, April 3rd. The only dinner ressie I could get is 9:10pm. I could get a nice lunch ressie but my kids would like to meet the Beast. Is it ridiculous to eat dinner that late? I'm not worried about the kids (11 and 15) but what about planning the day? If I can't get anything better, should I just go with it?

I would just go with it.

We had a 9:05pm reservation last month. At first, I wished for something earlier but it ended up being great for a couple of reasons. 1. We weren't rushed, the waiter was encouraging us to take our time and it ended up being a relaxing meal. 2. We were seated in the West room 3. Because the crowds were so thin, we what felt like a lot of time at the Beast and got GREAT pictures.

I would just go with it. We had great personal service at our 9pm BOG reservation in 2014. We were seated in the West Room and after about 20 minutes were the only people in there.
Our server was fun and my husband said it was the best meal of the trip. Even the teenagers loved it. They all said if we all 4 go back together they want to eat there again.

I'd grab it now, but keep looking for something earlier. Something will turn up if you keep checking.

I would go with it. If your kids are like mine they have no recollection of time while in the park.
