Dinner and parks closing so early!!!!

I'm trying to make ADRs. We like to eat around 7ish. If you look at the park hours, they close SO early in August and September. By the time you're done eating dinner, the parks close. I think it's ridiculous how early they close for what they charge you to get in!!! There's a few nights that the MK closes at 7PM. I can't believe it. I guess I'll make my ADRs late so we don't miss out on park time. Sorry if I sound cranky. I'm not. I'm extremely excited to go!!!!

If you look at the MK dates when they close at 7:00 it is probably because they are having either the Pirates and Princess Party, Night of Joy, Or Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party those nights.

I would recommend that you make your ADR's as late as possible on the days the parks close early, so you can maximize your park time, and not have to fight the crowds so much going back to your resort. Or, check the EMH calendar carefully, and plan your dining around the few evenings each park is open later.

Some people would follow up with a complaint regarding park hours being reduced so Disney can have a "hard ticketed event".

In general MK closes early during the slower dates. Guests have less time to spend in the park but may actually be able to go on more attractions. You might look at restaurants in the resorts and not have dinner in the them parks.
