Dinner and Disney After Hours

Hi!

I'm trying to decide where to eat dinner before DAH. It's between a Cape May Cafe 5:05 dinner reservation (We're staying at Beach Club) or 4:00 Hoop Dee Doo. Or open to other suggestions! We would like to be in the MK as soon as they allow.

Personally I would do the 4 pm since it’s earlier and close to mk

Grand Floridian Cafe is a nice option, or the Wave at the Contemporary. DH and I plan to get a sandwich at the Wave lounge. Personally I wouldn't want to do the Hoop de Doo before DAH, but then I tend to eat a lot and drink a lot at HDD.

I was just commenting on another Thread that going resort-to-resort at Disney requires time or taking a taxi.

Hoop Dee Doo would be loads of fun for the start of a longer evening, but time or money (for the taxi) should factor into your decision too.

And as much as I don't like being hassled with logistics, Hoop Dee Doo is one place that may be worth the effort.

When we stay at Epcot Area hotels getting to MK is easy. The bus takes about 15-20 minutes to get there and then it's a relaxing boat ride over to HDDR. You can take the same water route back to MK for DAH.

The only time I've taken a cab resort to resort at Disney was when I had a pedi @ GF and needed to get back to BWI but wore sneakers instead of flip flops. Women will understand the logistics just fine.

When we did MK DAH last week- we were going to do QS in CR but we were running late. We ended up eating in Fantasyland before the event started. I would chose the 4pm so it doesn't interfere with getting into MK before DAH starts.
