I'm thinking of doing the ""dinner and a movie" and would like to know how you go about doing that. Do you have to see a movie that same day and how do we know what movies are playing and at what time? What restaurants participate in this and do we have to make PS reservations-if so, how early? Our trip is in June.

It's really a good deal. With the package you get 2 vouchers, one redeemable for a movie ticket (just exchange it at the box office) and one voucher good for certain meal items at certain restaurants. The restaurants include Hard Rock, Nascar, NBA, ect... and each restaurant has around 6 different meals you can get. You can't just get anything on the menu, they give you a short list of what you can get. I think the tip is included with the meal voucher too. You don't have to use it on the same day, you can use them anyday. To get the deal, just go up to the visitor information booth in Citywalk and they will help you out. It's a good deal.

I generally don't recommend this option because your dinner choices are limited to the cheaper menu items (so you aren't really saving that much money) and are usually far from being the most interesting or yummy things on the menu. Of course, if they are offering something you would have ordered anyway....

All restaurants except Emeril's participate. (That means that Pat O'Brien's and Marley's, which also serve food, do not.)

If you'd like to see what each restaurant offers in this deal, visit:

For show times at the Cineplex, visit:

You have to eat and see the movie the same day. Priority seating not required but you can make a request at 407-224-3663. I think they accept PS requests about 30 days out, but there's probably no rush.

Like I say, I don't think is an especially great deal. Far better to have a really good meal and then treat yourself to a big gooey hot fudge sundae while you watch the movie. The CityWalk Cineplex is the only movie theater I've ever been to where you can do this.

Thanks Kelly for the link! This looks like a good option for my 14 year old and his friend because it has burgers and stuff they would eat, plus the tip is included which will be easier for them.
By the way, where can I purchase your books?

I thought you'd never ask!:D

My books are available at better bookstores, pool halls, and juke joints everywhere.

Or click on the "www" link below this message.

I think I am going completly crazy, or just blind, but where is the www under the message!!!!!!!!

The www is right in a little grey box next to profile, pm, etc... :) or better yet, CLICK HERE!

BTW, kelly, your book gave me supreme BRAGGING RIGHTS at USF this month. I was standing on line at the Universal Store and there it was, displayed at the register. I proudly said to the people in line, "MY FRIEND wrote this book"... :smooth:

I know, they were soooo impressed! :teeth:

Huh? Is it the little one that looks like a check mark?

Robin, when it comes to computer stuff I am truely the dimmest bulb on the block, LOL!

Dim bulb? You have FIVE kids! You're lucky to make it on these boards with that responsibility!

It's the little box with the little house on it for "home" page. :)

Kelly,
