Dinner advice...

With the following park hours:
MGM--9 am-9 pm
Epcot FW 9-6 pm WS11-9pm
MK 9 am-7 pm (th/F) 9-9:30 (s) 9-7 pm (sun/M)

We are booked PS's for the following for our May 15-19:
Thursday
Fastasmic Dinner Package Dinner @ 7 pm Show @ 9pm

Friday
SciFi for lunch 12:10 pm (we'll stick to the basics:burgers, fires, shakes--I've read the reviews)
'Ohana dinner 7:40 pm

Saturday
Primetime Lunch 12:00 pm

Sunday
Chef Mickey's dinner at 9 pm

We are staying at the Swan and planning to spend as much time at MGM for Star Wars weekends...

Looking at them in print, I feel a little better about them. What are your opinions????

Very good restaurant choices. Maybe changing Primetime to Brown Derby, moving Ohanas time to 9:00, or adding Shula's for dinner on Saturday would be my only suggestions for you.

One of my favorite restaurant's is Sci-Fi. I usually get the Reuban for lunch and usually never have a problem with that. But, their burgers are always great.

You HAVE to go to 50's Primetime. It is a blast, and the food is SO good. The S'mores for dessert are great!

As for Brown Derby.. it is good, a bit more pricey, and some of the menu items are more "upscale". If you have kids with you, they may not be overly impressed. I know that the ones sitting near us sure weren't!

Sci Fi, as long as you understand that you will be paying top dollar for a burger and shake so you can enjoy the atmosphere should be good.

We also enjoy Mama Melrose, too!

I would also check out Cape May Cafe at the Beach Club for dinner one night... so delicious, and so much from which to choose. We love the atmosphere and service here as well!

Fantasia Sam...We picked Hollywood and Vine for the package...
My Dh and I ate at the Brown Derby for lunch in June and we didn't care for it that much.

eeyore--we LOVE 50's primetime...last trip, My DBIL had to sit with a ketchup line on the table because he had elbows on the table and my DSis had to be fed choo choo style! It is a RIOT! We stop in the tune-in lounge for pb&j milkshakes at least once (usually more) every trip!!!!
My DB wants to try sci fi so we are going to...burger and fries is fine with me!

We had the cape may cafe the morning of my wedding and LOVED it! We'll have to try dinner...if not this trip, definitely in December...

MikeW...That's a good idea about 'Ohana...I'll ask DH

I would switch O'Hana to Sat night at 8:30-9:00 because that is the night MK has fireworks. Request a MK view window table and you will have a great view of the fireworks; after dinner you can walk to the beach and see the Electrical Water parade also!
Friday night I would pick either an Epcot restaurant or a Epcot resort restaurant and spend the evening in Epcot for Illuminations viewing. I know you want to spend time at the Starwars weekend but usually most of the scheduled activities are over by early evening which will allow plenty of time to go to Epcot for dinner and Illuminations. Some great Epcot resort restaurants are Flying Fish, Yachtsman's Steakhouse, Shulas, and some of the many great WS restaurants are Le Cellier, Chefs de France, Morocco, Japan.
Have a great trip. I will be there during the same time. Matter of fact we are eating at O'Hana Sat night!

Thanks for you suggestions...we are going to do the e-ride night at MK on Sat. Thanks for your suggestion though. I would switch it if we weren't doing that...we make these arrangements and then when we get down there they always change...thank you for your help.
