When doing the Land/Sea cruise, can you get the dining plan for the land portion? TIA

Not yet. I had asked about this as well when I booked the land/sea. I eventually booked the land portion separate from the cruise portion for more flexibility.

Did it come out to be about the same price? What about trans. from Disney to Port?

Many times it is cheaper booking separatly & you get more flexability, like Alex posted.

You can still purchase transportation to/from or rent a car. Car rental is also very popular, since it is usually cheaper & more flexible as well.

For us, no, it did not come out to be the same price: the Land/Sea Package was more expensive than booking each portion individually. For others, it was cheaper.

I wrote a thread about it here:

We usually arrange our own transportation as well. We don't like going from resort to resort and picking up other passengers, so we book a towncar. Many of the towncar companies offer MCO-Disney-Port-MCO packages that aren't unreasonable.

HTH!
