My son eats regular food. Am I allowed to order for him or let him eat off my plate, as I was not allowed to add him to my DDP?

at places like buffets my 2yo last year got a drink. I always ordered him one and had no problem paying for it but I wasn't charged. Things like counter service you will have to order and pay for it.

If I'm not mistaken, children under 3 also eat free at buffets so I would imagine that would include beverages since beverages are included in buffets. not 100% positive so maybe I shouldn't say anything.

At buffets we were never charged for my DDs drinks. A couple of table service meals gave her free drinks as well. But sometimes we were charged.
She was not on the DDP. We chose a lot of buffets that trip as she is a big eater! If I had to share with her I'd never get to eat!
This next trip I know she'll be eating her kid's meal and then looking for some of mine anyway! She's a good eater!

I've been working on the assumption that we'd pay for DD's (2.5yo) drinks at all the meals. Other than that, I plan on feeding her off of my plate, as her appetite is way down lately (six months ago, there would have been no question that we'd order her her own meal).
