Dining with little ones...tips?

I agree with getting your food at the same time. The waiters/waitresses would always bring dd's food early. She would plow it down and we had no peace during our meal. We would wonder why they did that.. guess I know now it works for a lot of people. Who'd a thunk it?? We're not normal. Anyway, we always beg for food at the same time. We just use our bag of tricks to get us to that point. Then we eat together... it's awesome.
