Definitely the waitstaff and chefs never make them feel inconvenienced are always so wonderful to deal with. When making ADRs there is a spot to put in for allergies. There is a choice for the major ones but not minor so we select dairy and other. When we check in the host will say there are allergies noted and stamp the ticket that goes to the table so when the waiter or waitress comes will see and ask what they are and then have a chef come. Sometimes the chef will return later after they got their meals to make sure everything was ok and if they need anything else. We usually look at the menus ahead of time to see if anything changed since our last visit and on most of them below the regular ones and the kids section will find the allergy section and will have under items which allergies they are good for. Sometimes something like a steak does not mention ok for dairy so they ask anyway and usually can alter for them so it never hurts to ask. We found out at restaurants there is always some cut of meat or fish that has not been marinated in anything. At buffets they can cook things in the back we always have a dinner at Boma. We did Liberty Tree Tavern for the first time a few weeks ago with the AYCTE. In the past had lunch there with the la carte menu but since they do not offer it anymore decided to try and were so glad. They could have the salad but the platter had to be altered for them and had different allergy safe options for dessert. The Italian places like Tony’s and Tutto Italia can cook pasta in water with no salt and offer a few different types of pasta for allergies and they get a plain sauce or olive oil. They have other items. Also other favorites other than what was mentioned are Be Our Guest, Chefs de France, Space220, Le Cellier, Coral Reef, 50’s Prime Time Cafe, Hollywood Brown Derby, Rainforest Cafe at AK, and The Boathouse at Disney Springs. For breakfasts they are Boma at AKL, Whispering Canyon Cafe at WL and Ale & Compass at YC.
