When we go to Disney my son will be a couple weeks shy of 2. We're getting the dining plan and I was wondering what his options will be since he's free. My little man is the best eater of all my kids and can put away the food. I don't think he will be content with eating off our plates. I'm not concerned with the buffets just the sit down meals and counter service. Not sure if I should be putting aside money to buy his own kids meals. Thanks for any info.

If you don't think eating from your plate will be enough for him, definitely plan on buying him some food. You may find that buying an extra side item will be enough, rather than an entire kid's meal.

I think putting aside money to purchase an additional child's meal is the way to go. If he eats lots, and you don't think he will be satisfied eating from your plates, than that is your option.
Have Fun

Yes, if he won't be content with eating off others plates then you need to plan to buy him his own meal at TS and CS. All you can eat and buffets won't be a problem as you can get him his own. You may find once you are there a couple days that he will be fine sharing at some meals and you will have extra money!
