My inlaws are planning to sail with us in 2004 but in a different cabin. Can we request to be put at the same table for dinner? we are booked with DU but did not book at the same time.

Yes you can. We did the same thing last year and we had a total of 9 in our group. Just make sure you're in the same seating time.

Have someone call DCL and link your reservations numbers together now so you won't have problems when you embark.

Just make sure you have their reservation number when you call so they can link the ressies. We always link our ressie with friends and had a total of 16 once!!

In case you get to dinner and you are not seated at one table just call over the Dining Room Head Server and tell them. Our 11 were separated into two tables the first night but for breakfast and all the rest of the meals we were sat together. Remember, this is the beginning of your trip so don't fret the small stuff and don't burn any bridges. I'm amazed at people who still think degrading waitstaff gets them further. Be nice - they'll be serving you for the remainder of your trip.

We've cruised with my in-laws twice and will be again on May 10th. Just drop a note to your Dreams agent and ask them to link the reservations (you need the name and reservation number).

You can tell as soon as you get the cards if you are at the same table as the table number will be on your card. If for some reason you aren't go immediately to the location where you can change dining reservations (I think sessions).

Huh? I've been exercising regularly (since this morning) and watching my diet (since this afternoon) in order that I DON'T look like a ship in the night OR day. Well, actually I'm on 2 diets - not enough food being on just one!

Tell you what, Rae, IF we are going to pass each other like "ships in the night" can I PLEASE be a submarine? Or does that conjure up too many sexual innuendoes?...

You are just too funny, I do like the two diet idea, I just took off 5 pounds this week, got to take some weight off, so I can put it back on during the cruise. That's if you and your son leave me any JUMBO SHRIMP!!!
