Dining time at Kona to make Fantasmic?

We made dinner reservations at Kona Cafe for 6:25, will DH and I be able to go and still make Fantasmic at 9:00 or is that cutting it close? We will have a car onsite if that makes a difference.

If not, does anyone have any reccomendations for TS in MGM?

On our last trip, we had reservations at 6:15 (party of four), and were back in the lobby of the Poly around 7:40.

With your schedule, you'd have to grab a bus to the Studios, and I would guess that you would pull into MGM at around 8:30 --it depends on the lines for Fantasmic, but I think that would be cutting it pretty close.

Brown Derby is a good option at MGM. (We also like Mama Melrose, but it's not on a level with the Kona or Brown Derby.)
