I am going to Disney in a few months with the dining plan. Please make your recommendations on where I should be eating dinner and why?

Thanks

When you say a few months. do you mean two or three or more like six? That will make a difference in what you will find available.

If I were you, I'd take a look at the menus on the DIS or on Allears.net. See what menus look good to you and start entering your dining choices soon. Anyone can start booking dining reservations 180 days out and if you are staying on site you can book 180 days out from the start of your trip plus ten addition days for that reservation.

Good luck.

Very good suggestions! It depends on what kind of money you want to spend, too. Are you looking for character meals, signature restaurants, counter service:confused: There are soooooo many good ones to choose from. Where will you be staying?

As said earlier if your trip is in a few months you need to make ressies now Or you could very well not be able to eat anywhere you want for a TS meal.

That said, it is hard to recommend places without knowing the person or what types of foods you like.
What I recommend is for you to check out the menus on this site, WDW site and Allears. Some are not totally correct but will give you a sense of what dishes you will find there.

Being around the boards a few years I can safely say what I think is great you may find horrible.
So my advice is to go with a restaurant that has the foods/dishes you like and 90% of the time you will enjoy it.
If you pick your place by "I loved it, we had the best foods there"....there is a 50/50 chance you will hate it.

Research is the best way to pick where to eat. After all it is $$ and the foods can make or break your vacation if you aren't careful.

Have a safe and happy trip!!

This is stellar advice. We are planning our first trip (Oct) and I've been perusing all information I can find. I have a friend who just returned and loved many places that get panned on Disney travel boards, even here on this one. So, you have to decide what foods you like, find restaurants that serve those types of foods and take a chance. I will go out on a limb and allege that many of our favorite "at home" restaurants serve bilge or provide bad service once in a while. It happens. Choose wisely, but don't be dissuaded by those who may not have your taste buds.
