I would like to hear your suggestions for dining at both of the parks. There will be DH and I, DD8, DS2 and MIL. I don't need breakfast as it's included in our hotel. What would you recommend for:

1. Quick lunch (counter service) at both parks?
2. Best snacks?
3. Family friendly dinner (nothing too fancy or time consuming)

I think we might try a character meal, but I am not sure yet. Thanks

We love Bengal BBQ (in Adventureland) for counter service.
We also love Whitewater Snacks in the GCH (through DCA). They have great breakfast burritos as well as chicken nachos
The corndog cart on Main Street is also a favorite of ours.
Plaza Inn has great fried chicken and it's good for families. You can sit down to eat, but, you get your food and seat yourself. No tipping needed.

Our kids are grown, and I don't think the character meals were there when they were smaller, so, I have no thoughts on that topic.
