Dining suggestions before Illuminations cruise

This will be our first time in Wdw for ds(10) and myself. I need suggestions for dinner before the illuminations cruise perhaps something "close" since I don't know how far the marina is from everything

Spoodles! it's a five minute walk from there to the marina. Some of the best food at WDW, and seldom crowded. Casual atmosphere, one of our favorites!

Depending on your budget, I'd recommend either Beaches & Cream (tighter budget) or the Yachtsman Steakhouse (not so tight budget).

My son and I are having dinner at Cape May Cafe before our IC.

We ate in Epcot before our Illuminations Cruise. It leaves either from the Yacht Club dock or the BW dock. They should tell you where it leaves from when you reserved it.

We loved Beaches and Creme before our cruises but that was when we had vouchers. Not sure if we would do it now even with DD card??

We did Beaches and Cream before ours- horrible, horrible, horrrible!
The people we met up with went to Spoodles and loved it.

We are having dinner at 6:00 at Grand Floridian Cafe and will head to Y&B for the 8:30 cruise.
