Hello all-long time lurker, first time poster!

I am going to WDW in September. I have two (hopefully three) character ADRs for Liberty Tree (one last time) and Cape May. I am attending these meals alone as my fellow travelers have "been there, done that", so to speak. So, this is my question. Who can I ask to make my picture with the characters? I have never dined alone at WDW and having my pic made with the characters is important to me.

Thanks for any suggestions.

Well, I was at Chef Mickey's and the person was not dining alone, but wanted a full family shot with each character so the dad asked me if I would mind taking the photos for them when the characters came by. I didn't mind at all! In fact I was happy to help give them a great vacation memory. So, my suggestion would be to ask someone at a nearby table if they would be willing to help you out! More than likely they would be happy to take the photos. If you ask someone and they can't be bothered by it, simply thank them and then ask someone else!

our waitress took some of the photos for us when my husband and I went to Crystal Palace the first time........I think you will be surprised at how good the cms are at all the restaurants and thru out the parks too.......

BY THE WAY......

Welcome to the dis.....if you need anything just yell...

It's nice to know that the CM are willing to take pix. My boyfriend and I are going to Chef Mickey's in January and I was wondering what to do if I wanted both of us in the pix.

In 06 when my mom and I went to Park Fare, the lady at the next table offered to take our picture so my mom and I could both be in it. At Crystal Palace last year, our sever offered to take our picture as well. Shouldn't be a problem at all I bet.

I would just ask one of the staff members.

I was in a couple of places taking pictures of my girls and out of nowhere a cm would ask me if I would like for them to take my picture with the girls.
It was great because I was thinking that I really had no pictures of me with the girls on this trip.

Thanks, all, for your replies. I feel somewhat hesitant to ask fellow diners as I don't want to disturb them, however, I may have to. I was hoping the wait staff might help out as well. Oh well, I won't worry. I am sure some lovely Disney fan will help me out.

I've done a solo trip last september. At each caractre meal (Chef Mickeys, Akershuys, Christal Palace) I did, the CM appointed to my table offered to take pics. This offer was made as soon as they seated me at the table.

I constantly embarrass my family by asking folks if they want me to take a picture so the "photographer" can be in it with their families. The embarrassment comes from the fact that I don't know how to work anything but a disposable camera! The new fangled cameras are beyond me and having someone explain how to use it, sometimes speaking German, or Korean, or French just adds to the fun!

Anyway just to say I don't think anyone would mind helping you out. Not me anyway!!!!

Any CM would be more than happy to take it for you or if not we ask other familys and they have done it to. Have fun!

DH and I ate at Garden Grills yesterday and several times our server came up and took our photo together...we didn't even have to ask.
