I will be going solo in December and I was thinking of trying one Garden Grill or Whispering Canyon but I was wondering how they would handle me with the family style dining. Anyone gone solo at either of these places?

We went to Liberty Tree Tavern last December, there were 11 of us, they sat us 4 adults at one table and the "kids" (all over 14) at another.
We received the same food as the larger table in our party, just less food and/or on smaller plates.

I imagine they would just serve you smaller portions with smaller refills

I have been solo at the Whispering Canyon and the skillet dinner is the same as if you were with more people. it just does not get refilled as often (unless you can really eat a lot). I even told the waiter that I was alone and did not want everything, but was told "That is what people get, and you are getting it and had better eat it all".

I went to LTT solo....they just gave me smaller portions than the other tables....but I could've asked for more if I wanted it!

The last time I went to WCC I didn't get the skillet but I did order the Chicken Quesadila was just enough to fill me then had the HCOE S'more dessert! :) Yummy!

I was just in Orlando for business earlier this month, and I ate solo at Whispering Canyon. They seated me at one of the tables that is separated from the main dining area at the far end nearest to Artist Point.

I ordered the skillet and managed to eat every last bit of it, including three Heinekens to wash it down :drinking1. Needless to say, I didn't need any dessert :). I was seated next to a family of four and my skillet size was considerably smaller than what they were given however.
