Dining Selection Thoughts?

I have the following table service meals booked for our upcoming trip in September/October and would like thoughts/feedback/opinions. Adult and child, age 7 - turning 8 while we are at Disney!!

• Via Napoli Ristorante Pizzeria - dinner
• Tusker House - dinner
• 'Ohana - breakfast
• Akershus Banquet Hall - breakfast
• Tusker House - breakfast
• Crystal Palace - breakfast
• Be Our Guest - dinner
• Chef Mickey's - breakfast
• Restaurant Marrakesh - dinner
• Minnie's Beach Bash at Cape May Cafe - breakfast
• Planet Hollywood at Disney Springs - lunch

Please keep in mind when critiquing that I am allergic to shellfish and my DS eats his biggest meal of the day at breakfast - he loves all things breakfast. Would you change anything? Thanks!

Love breakfast at Tusker House, Crystal Palace, and Cape May. Also love BOG dinner.

Looks amazing! We did not have a great experience at Via Napoli. However! I know a lot of people love it. Maybe we were there at an off night. Tusker house is my son's fave and he is the same age as your son. I love 'Ohana breakfast. The food was good, the service was good and the character interaction was good. Great choice! We have done Chef Mickey's for brunch, so you get both both breakfast and lunch foods. We were warned before we went that the food wasn't that great, but we did not think it was that bad. My son had a lot of fun. We are doing Minnie's Beach Bash in a couple weeks. Super excited! I think your plans look great. Have an amazing time. Happy birthday to your son!

VN is a kiddos' favorite on my end. The adults also like the appetizers, some of the salads, and ALL love the "ugly" sundae.

My "mini" traveling companions have out grown character meals and I'm not a big fan of most buffets so remain opinion-less on Akershaus, Tusker House, Chef Mickey's,CP, and MBB. Still haven't eaten from the new BOG menu.

Whenever children travel with us we eat at 'Ohana or order the meal via room service @ Poly. It makes the young ones happy and I particularly like the new salad.

RM makes a nice dinner and the music and dancer is just perfect to the overall theme.

Chef Mickey’s is the only I would swap. Consider Crystal Palace with the Pooh crew or Boma at AKL. ENJOY!

I'd skip Chef Mickey's unless your kids really want to meet the characters.

I also wouldn't go out of my way for Planet Hollywood. It's a chain restaurant (which I usually try to avoid). There are other good options in Disney Springs if you want to eat there. Homecomin and Raglan Road are good.

Chef Mickey's is my son's favorite so that is a must for us. I think it has to do with them being in the chef costumes and he loves to cook.

I did switch out our last mean and instead of Planet Hollywood we will go to TRex. We have been there before (multiple times), and I am not crazy about the food, but DS loves it and it will be a great way to end our trip before heading to the airport.
