Our trip is less than a week away and I am wondering if my restaurant choices are good! Should I look at trying to change any of these at the last minute? ;)

My goal is to try to do mostly buffet/all you can eat restaurants because I have 3 kids, 2 of which are under 3 years old but eat like they are teenagers. LOL So at buffets they are free and I am trying to do this trip as *budget* as possible! :)

We do have the DDP the basic plan. Here's my plan:

Arrive: 10/24 (Noon)
Lunch at POP CS (OOP)
Dinner Chef Mickeys - 7:50PM (DDP TS)

10/25
We'll be visiting MK this day.
8:05 AM Ohana's (OOP) - I think this is the cheapest so I was going to do this OOP.
Lunch - CS DDP
Dinner - CS DDP

10/26
Animal Kingdom (morning) and MNSSHP (evening)
Breakfast (bringing cereal!)
Lunch - CS DDP
We'll be leaving Animal Kingdom at about 1pm
Dinner - 4:45PM 1900 Park Fare (DDP)
Then MNSSHP!

10/27
Epcot Day!
Breakfast - Cereal again! LOL
Lunch - Biergarten 1:00PM (DDP)
Dinner - CS DDP

10/28 - Departure Day :sad1:
We will be driving home (about a 3hr drive).
So before we leave we will head to DHS for awhile
Lunch 1:00PM Hollywood and Vine DDP
Home...

So are these choices pretty good?

I have had great experiences at all of those restaurants.

Within the last few months, I have read mixed reviews about the lunch and dinner buffets at Hollywood & Vine.

I did go to the breakfast buffet there in August 2006, and it was absolutely wonderful. We had the first seating of the morning, so perhaps that is why the restaurant was so clean and the food so fresh. The character interaction was great. I was surprised when I read bad reviews on the DIS this year, because our experience was so good.

If you decided to change that ADR, perhaps you could get a breakfast at Hollywood & Vine instead of a lunch.

Or perhaps you could travel to one of the resorts for lunch before you depart? Whispering Canyon Cafe would be all-you-can-eat, and it's a fun place for kids. Or Boma might make for a wonderful late-breakfast, right before you leave?

Wishing you a wonderful trip!

nice mix. My only hesitation would be H&V before a 3 hr car ride. Too many people have reported needed to be close to faciities after eating there:scared: but it is a huge draw with the little ones.

have a great trip!

Yes I've heard mixed reviews about this restaurant too. That's the one I'm really nervous about.

We just visited Whispering Canyon in May...and it was great! But I didn't want to repeat restaurants on this trip. We will also be going back next May (annual passes..) and staying at AKV, so I was thinking I'd save Boma for then just because we'll be fairly close to it.

Wishing you a wonderful trip!

Thanks! I can't wait!

I would just stick with your choices and enjoy your meals. You can drive yourself crazy with too much second guessing.
