The early rotation is 5:30, 5:45, 6:00 and the late rotation is 8:00, 8:15. 8:30. How exactly does that work? If you are early rotation do you get one assigned time, say 5:45 and that is when you eat for all dinners? Or is it by restaurant?

If you get assigned a single time, do you just ask for early rotation and they assign you one of the three or can you choose, say 6:00?

We asked for and were assigned early dining. Our rotation was Animator's Palate, Parrot Cay, and Lumiere's. We ate every night at 5:30, no matter what restaurant we were assigned to. We didn't ask for a particular time, it was assigned to us.

When you arrive for check in you will receive a "WELCOME ABOARD" letter, and it will tell you where you can go onboard to make any changes to your dining scheduled.

I'm new to this, so bear with me please.

What about where you eat on what day. Is that chosen for you and the only time you can change it is after you board? Or can you make "reservations" beforehand?

You can "request" a certain dining rotation. There are no guarantees. Upon check-in you will receive your Key to the World Card, and it will have the information on it.. Ex: PLAPLAP.. If this is not what you want, you can then go to where they make reservations for Palo and such, and again request the change...HTH:)

Can you request an 8:00 late seating before you leave or can you only request early/late?

That is almost done for you..:rotfl2: The first sitting goes so fast, that late is almost always what is available. That can be done at booking time.:thumbsup2

You can request a specific time (8:00, or whatever). This will, of course, control your restaurant rotation. There is no promise that you will get the time, but it will be noted as a request.

When you board, your KTTW card will have your information as to rotation, etc. If you are not happy with what was assigned, you can go to "dining changes" at the location noted on the "Welcome Aboard" navigator and request a change. They can usually make the changes at that time. Once, we were told that they would call our cabin and leave a message if it was possible--and we got what we wanted.
