Dining Rotation Schedule..........

I have to say I love the new way. I loved the fact the hallways were not as crowded and I loved the fact when we disembarked we had no lines to leave the ship, we could get a porter to help us (6 were available and waiting), no problem in finding my luggage, no crowds what so ever in the luggage area, and I only had to wait 2 minutes in the Customs line. You can't beat what the staggered dining times do for you on the day you have to leave. It makes this process more bearable. In the past I dreaded the crowds and the hussle of everyone. It tends to bring out the rudeness in people.

We have been very very lucky on all of our sailings with DCL, their debarkation is in our opinion THE BEST EVER!!!! Staggered dining or not, we have always been off the ship by 8:30AM and on the Beeline to Orlando......

I have to say with other cruise lines THAT IS the worst part of the trip,
the debarkation on any other line is just pure craziness............so when
we get to go on DCL we are AMAZED at how GREAT THEIR debarkation is!!!!!

The staggered dining I look forward to trying one day soon and I will be able to try and see whats up? Just very curious as I mentioned but glad to hear that you and others have liked it..........

So you are saying that they actually stagger breakfast the last morning too? :( We have never had a problem practically walking off the ship whenever we were ready.

well they staggered breakfast on the last morning of the repo cruise - and debarkation was HORRENDOUS!!! I don't think it had anything to do with staggered breakfast times though - it had to do with non-US citizens not clearing customs, and DCL having to deal with twice the luggage to off load, Customs shutting down debarkation at one point, and oh yeah, the rental car companies were sooooo not ready for us.

They can staggering last morning breakfast times without changing dinner times ;)

okay-- so if I understand this correctly: you get main or late seating and then your dining time depends upon which rotation of resturants you have, and your rotation usually goes by the ages of the children in your party?
If that is so, with a 1 and 4 year old which rotation would be the one they will most likely will put us in for a 7 day???

UGH! What a mess! Usually we go to WDW before the cruise but this time we will be going after. I guess that we will just grab a quick bite at Topsider's & get in line to leave ASAP.
