Dining Room Requests

I have searched the DCL website and I cannot see how to make a request for the dining room. What I want is a table alone with just my family of 4. We are on the Magic in December. I don't want to seem antisocial, but I really hate dining with strangers. Plus this is a rare family vacation that I want to spend with my family. Where do you make this request and how likely is it to happen?

If you made your reservation with a TA, you'll have to have them make the request for you. If you booked yourself through the website or by phone you can call DCL directly, there is no way to do it online.

You can only make a request for this, nothing will be guaranteed. With that in mind, you're in a good situation as there are lots of 4 top tables so you're chances are very good of having your own table. We're a family of 4 as well and we've never requested our own table but in 4 cruises we've always had our own table. I don't like having table mates either, so you're not alone in that thinking.

We made the request through our travel agent last year when were went on Fantasy (3 of us) and it was granted. We had also requested a dining rotation that did not have Animator's Palate on formal night and that was granted also... maybe just by coincidence, though. I think they really do make their best effort to accommodate the request. Our travel agent continually says how important "satisfied" customers are to them so they he believes they take the requests seriously and make the best effort... but just can't promise anything.
