Dining room paint

Need color suggestions to go with a cherry dining room set. I only want to spend the money once and get it right.
What color pallette do you think goes with cherrywood furniture?

We have toasted almond in our dining room with our cherry furniture. I think it looks great and we get compliments on it all the time.

ETA, I believe it's a Behr color, we got it from Home Depot when we did our rebuild after the fire.

I like brown and yellow with cherry furniture.

I was going to suggest the earthy green family...do you have white or stained woodwork?Do you get sunlight in the room?

Cherry has a lot of red in it. So it would suggest a complementing color. You could pick a brown that has red undertones or something in the green family. I like a Hunter green with Cherry. I would stay away from the greens with yellow undertones.

I would suggest you start with pick up some of color chips tape them up in your room. Once you choose a few you like, get the color samples made up. You need to see what the colors look like at different times of the day. Light plays a big part in what colors really look like in a room.
