After many years of eating in World Showcase I finally had lunch at the Rose and Crown. Two previous times I have had reservations or a PS and canceled because it just didn’t sound appealing. Followed through this time and we were very, very happy. We shared the Indian Spiced Chicken Salad and Fish and Chips. That was the best Fish and chips I have had. Something about that batter….. The salad was excellent as well. We shared desserts as well. Warm apple crumble and sticky toffee pudding. Both were excellent. Service was great as well.
Tagierine Café Dinner. Lamb Shwarma was very good as were the cous-cous salad and lentil salad.
Lunch at Hollywood Brown Derby. I ate here in 1996 but have since been enamored of the Sci Fi Dine In and the 50’s Prime Time Café. Service was great and the surroundings were suitable upscale without feeling stuffy. Sister had a bowl of the new bean soup which was excellent. We split a Cobb salad and I had the Honey BBQ breast of chicken which was much like a salad as well. Good thing I love salad. Everything was very good though not excellent except the soup which was mmmmm great. We tried the grapefruit cake. Sis didn’t like it and I was not initially pleased but after a few bites it started to work quite well.
‘Ohana dinner. Needs no review. It is still my favorite restaurant at WDW. Thank goodness they kept the noodles.
Crystal Palace lunch. I ate here in 1999 and thought it was just okay but I love the atmosphere. It is so beautiful inside. This ended up being a great meal. The foods were all fresh and good flavored. We were in the first lunch seating and the lines got long fairly quickly. We didn’t go for the characters but visited with Pooh and Tigger anyway.
Dinner at Columbia Harbor House. I love the tuna sandwich. As usual it was jam packed but up stairs was practically empty.
On our day off from the parks I had no plan. We had a voucher for $15 off at Planet Hollywood so went there. I had fajitas which were fine but not great. Sis had a great burger and the Chocolate brownie dessert was really good. Not to heavy.
For dinner that night we weren’t sure what we wanted. We ended up walking around the Boardwalk and thought we would try Big River Grill. I had never been and was never inclined to go. There was a huge crowd waiting but we asked anyway. They had a table for two right away inside. It was noisy inside and the décor was uninspiring. Menu was fine. We ordered the Chicken Caesar salad and the chicken marinara pasta and split both of them. They were both very good. Not real rich but light and flavorful. Service was good too.
My second favorite restaurant at WDW is the Liberty Tree Tavern for lunch. It is still in that position. Everything I have had there has been great. The fried cheese is awesome. And so good for you too.
I had my first trip to a Chik-fillet. The sandwich was really good. I am glad we don’t have them here as I would go often. Bad experience when girl threw up on the floor next to our table. Ewwww.
Lunch at the Biergarten. Very good. The German food always has a aura of being bland but it is all so good. We had a good table of people.
Dinner at Cantina de San Angel. The food is slopped together but it still tasted good. 

THanks for the reviews. I've thinking about the Big River Grill for next year too. Glad to hear good things, you don't hear much about it!

Never been to a chick-filet?? LOL! Sorry they have my fave chicken sandwhich..Glad to hear you like CP since we will be trying it for the first time..

Here in Northern California the closest Chick-fil-a is about 100 minutes drive away. The rest of them are in southern California. I may get there on y next trip to Disneyland.

Glad you had a good time. We tried R&C for the first time too on our past trip. The Fish and Chips are really good and I too loved the sticky toffee pudding. However, on our next trip my DH really wants to try out the Le Cellier. Our goal now is to try out the different country's TS at least once on a trip....good goal to set :goodvibes

I finally tried Le Cellier in 2005 and it was really good too. The only World Showcase full service restaurant I have not been to is the Japanese sushi place and Bistro de Paris. Oh..and the new place in Italy. I liked the old one but the new one sounds pretty good.

Thanks for the review! I'm getting more excited about my ADR at Rose & Crown in May now. :)
