On our third day at the parks we headed over to Epcot. We decided to skip breakfast so we could grab lunch "in England". My bf only request for the whole trip was that we stop there for fish and chips. We did not have a PS but got there at 11:30 and it wasn't to crowded. We at first asked to sit outside but they were going to sit us at the only table that did not have an umbrella. The sun was beating down on the table and there was no way my fair skin would have been able to take that. We went back to the front and told the CM that we changed our minds and wanted to be inside. They accommodated our request without any problems and had a great table inside along the wall near the fireplace. Our server was Tracey and she was a very good server. She was very friendly and helpful with any question we had. My bf knew he wanted the fish and chips. I decided on the Guiness Stew. My bf said his fish and chips were fantastic and they must have been b/c I never even got to try a bite. My beef stew was excellent although I did remove the cheese cracker from it b/c it had a strange almost over processed taste to it (but that is probably the company they buy them from). The stew itself was full of meat and carrots and very tasty. Total for meal with tax and tip= $40.60
For dinner we chose Teppanyaki in Japan at Epcot. Here we were seated with several other parties around a grill that reaches a temp of 500 degrees. I had eaten here before and didn't mind sitting with other people here as much as I did when we ate at the Germany restaurant on a previous trip. The way you are seated you can either choose to interact or you can just talk to your party. We did talk a little bit with the couple sitting near us. Our server was Yuko, she started us off with hot towels to wash our hands. For our main entree I chose steak and chicken. My bf chose scallops and chicken. After everyone has ordered the chef comes to the table with all the meat and veggies and places them on the hot grill. Our chef was great ( I don't remember his name) keeping us entertained while our food was cooking. They used to give you salad as an starter but that is no longer included in the meal, however I had enough food on my plate that I didn't miss it. My chicken was delicious and my steak was fantastic cooked exactly as I asked. My bf who is not a steak fan even had several pieces of mine. His scallops and chicken were excellent as well. We both loved the ginger dipping sauce but neither of us really liked the hot mustard sauce. The meal is also served with udon noodles and fresh grilled veggies as well as steamed rice. Total for this meal with tax and tip= 68.85
