I know there are several on here but thought I'd post ours as well. When I was planning, it was nice to read as much as possible about our choices ahead of time. DH-38, DD11, DD5, DS3, me30s Disney buses used to get to all places.

9/24 - CP lunch - 11:45 & there was a huge line to check in. Worried it would be a long hot wait but we were seated pretty quickly. One of our fav meals & would definitely do it again! Great character interaction, great food & server. DH & I both loved the chicken pasta dish & wish I had more of the little lemon squares - yum!

Dinner - Kona Cafe 5:10 - Excellent food! Lots of tables open here, wasn't crazy about the atmosphere or our table behind the host station. However, the food was excellent! DD & I got Caesar salads, DH got some seafood something - all yummy though DD thought too much dressing on salad. I had the filet medallions - wow, amazing! Desserts were huge, kids & DH got ice cream sundaes which were great, I had macadamia tart, not thrilled. Like pecan pie but maca. nuts all over the top, barely any chocolate to speak of & my reason for ordering. Felt like we were on display as people kept looking at us w/these 5 huge desserts! Definitely a place where sharing credits would work well.

9/25 - AK day - ended up at Pizzafari so we could find kids' meals ours would eat. Cute theming, food was fine, we were hot so it was nice to sit inside.

Dinner - Olivia's 5:10 - Loved the theming & food here, would pay to eat here again. Again, pretty empty with a few more tables filling as we were there. Told server DD & I planned to split so app & entree both came separately plated. We split sticky wings - yummy & prime rib sandwich - double yum! DH had shrimp pasta which looked fantastic & he said was very good. Key lime tart for dessert, very good & DD had kids sundae. DH took apple tart back & had later, also good.

9/26 - POR food court bfst - good selection, got giant cinnamon buns as sides per suggestion of cashier. Saved those to eat the next day.

Lunch - TL food court - burgers were great, going swimming a few hours always makes food taste sooooo good! Got tokens for ice creams & had those at a break later.

Dinner - WCC - 6:50. Great food & atmosphere! My only mistake meal of the trip & that was only due to the time. It was the only time I could get & thought we'd be ok since we'd have time to relax after TL, clean up & head over. Well, by the time you figure transportation into it, not much time to relax & kids were tired. DD5 was so tired, she didn't touch her food & ended up taking her into the lobby where she curled up in a chair & fell fast asleep. It was after 9pm by the time we got out of there. Stephen was our server & did an amazing job! Very funny! We got the skillet & the pulled pork was my fav, DD loved the ribs & DH the sausage. Not sure I'd get it again since it was a lot of meat but very good & worth trying.

9/27

Lunch - Pinocchio's - nothing spectacular, best part of meals were the shakes ordered as dessert. Slightly cranky CM at register but 2 very nice girls greeting & were from our state. :)

Dinner - supposed to be Concourse but ended up cancelling. Wanted to stay at MK longer & save our 6 remaining TS credits for CM & not have to pay OOP, plus we had 7 CS to use or waste. Ended up at Cosmic Ray's - park food, I really liked the wrap last time & wish I'd ordered that instead of the burger. Good but not as good as the wrap was last time. Typical stuff.

9/28 - Still had 3 CS left so got 3 cereals, 3 drinks & 3 rice krispy Mickey bars for the trip. Cashier was fine w/the choices.

CM - 11:20 - Great time to go for characters!! Lots of interaction & we were among the last tables there. Only downside was we felt we were a little rushed to get out of there. Got a slow start eating since characters kept coming up to the table but everyone managed to get stuffed anyway.

We used all of our snack credits -mostly on drinks, all CS & wasted 1 TS. Would have liked to have paid for someone but no one around to use. Some places I felt a twinge of attitude when announcing dining plan but we tipped everyone over the standard.

Biggest pet peeve was not knowing what was on plan for snacks & what wasn't. Wish the carts would post signs when the scanner is not working & also post a list of what items qualify & which don't.

All in all, the plan was fun, didn't worry about DD's uneaten dinner since it was free but sorry to have wasted a credit. It was nice to have breaks for sit downs but not sure we'd do it again if paying. While it's a good deal, the credits don't work the way we'd normally eat. I'd prefer more snack credits & less TS. Or we'll do it for the adults & DD11 but leave the little ones in a kids club. Not quite as relaxing w/small ones jumping around. Not sure how they can ask to be carried or ride all through the parks but can't sit in a seat for a meal??? :earboy2:

Enjoyed reading your reviews. I hope to get to Kona's one day! For me, it's as hard as it is to get someone to go eat Chinese with me!lol

Thanks for posting!

I am hoping to get to Kona for dinner in November. Sounds yummy!
