This was the first time we had the DDP & we LOVED it!! "We" consists of myself (41), hubby (48), daughter (13), and son (10). Okay, here goes.......
8/26/11 - arrived at POFQ & immediately tried the beneigts. If you've had the real thing - they're just okay, but they would satisfy a sweet tooth. We settled into our room, then went to DTD and had dinner at The Turf Club (Saratoga Springs). All the meals were delicious & we'd definitely go back.
8/27/11 - A little breakfast in the room, then off to MK. For the first time ever we caught the little show at rope drop - it was cute!! Lunch @ Cosmic Rays because it was air-conditioned!! Hubby got the chicken & ribs platter & was thrilled. The kids and I all got burgers which were just okay, but the fries with melted cheese were yummy!! Dinner @ Liberty Tree Tavern was pretty good. The bread & salad were tasty, the meats were hit or miss (turkey & beef were good), the potatoes & gravy were excellent & the veggies sat on the plate they came on
8/28/11 - shared 2 breakfast platters between the 4 of us at the foodcourt then off to Hollywood Studios. Lunch was at Pizza Planet & it was pretty good. The kids liked the pizza & the hubby & I enjoyed the meatball sub. The muffin dessert was THE BEST!! Dinner was at Mama Melrose & we had the Fantasmic package which allowed us an appetizer. The appys were delicious: oysters, cold antipasto & fresh mozzarella/tomato. The entrees we had were: Chicken Parm (eh), NY Strip (yum), Seafood Pasta (okay) and Mahi Mahi (the clear winner). Too full for dessert
More later............
