Hi. We stayed in a 1 bedroom villa at WL, so we only ate out a few times, but here's the list:

Norway: lunch. Lunch has almost everything as dinner, and it's much cheaper. My kids (8, 5, 1) had no trouble finding something to eat. I had the pasta this time and LOVED it. My husband had the pasta, then ground beef balls (can't think of what they're called), then the salmon. He liked everything, but said everything there is "sweet" (he's a salt guy). All in all very good. If you have small kids and will be making lots of trips to the cold buffet ask to be seated near the buffet.

WCC: dinner. My kids had a blast. The food was good bbq food. But my kids had such a good time, and loved the shakes and food. I really enjoyed the dinner because my kids were happy and weren't asking when we were going to leave. We definitely go back.

Ohanas: Really good food, and all my kids managed to find something they'd eat. We had a seat by the window which was beautiful, but we weren't near the festivities. My DD liked the hula, but the coconut races were a little disorganized. I also felt a little rushed, especially after waiting 1:15 to be seated. It was really good, but make a point of slowing things down and take your time eating.

Pizza Planet: lunch. kids choice. They loved the pizza and ate all of it. Not expensive. Eat upstairs--it's quieter and cool.

Ghiradellis (sp?): I'm not sure what all of the fuss is about. The sundaes were good, but the place is busy and a little disorganized. My kids agreed they'd rather go to Rose and Crown and get the sundaes with the crowns of chocolate next time. R and C is a much nicer atmosphere.

I think that's it. Any questions?

Love your reviews (lunch at Norway is a great idea - I'm going to try it!) but I'm in shock about Ghirdelli's!! I think the sundaes there are to die for. And it's always crowded, but we've always received prompt and courteous service. Just thinking about the Foghorn Sundae is making my mouth water... :D

Ghirardelli's Foghorn Sundae is absolutely one of the best desserts at WDW if you like chocolate and raspberry. Only one time have I been disappointed there and it was when it was so hot and the line so backed up that my Foghorn came out like soup. Actually, that happened one other time--but I sent it back and got a nice, cold sundae. Sorry that you didn't find one of their better items to order. It really is worth another try.

hi, thanks for sharing your reviews. one question re o'hana, please. did you have a p.s. and still waited an hour and 15 min. to be seated? what time was your p.s.? (if you had one?) thanks in advance

We didn't have a PS for Ohana. I heard the CM telling people who had PS's that the wait was 1/2 hour, and people w/o a PS (like us) were told the wait was 1 and 1/2 hour. At first I cringed, but actually the waiting area has lots of seating, and my DH and I ordered drinks and an appetizer (egg rolls--yummy) and the time flew by.

I also meant to mention this about Norway--have a late lunch as your dinner. The lunch menu is almost the same as the dinner menu, and it's really inexpensive (I think $13.99 for adults). The cold buffet is the same. They serve lunch until 4:30pm. If you go at 4 and have lunch, it could count as dinner, and you could just eat desserts from around the world the rest of the night.

Thanks for the reviews. I have to agree about Ghiradelli's - too expensive and crowded for me. Sundaes were OK, but no different from what I get anywhere else. Kids were just as happy at McDonalds
