Back to my reviews.....
'Ohana-This was our second trip to Ohana. I was reluctant to make an ADR because of the new menu and the reviews I read about bad service. I went ahead because that was DH's fave last time. We checked in about 20 minutes early and were seated about 5 minutes before our ADR time. I can't remember our servers name but he did a good job. He brought out the salad, wonton chips, shrimp, and sticky wings. I didn't want to fill up on salad and chips so I didn't try them, but DH said the salad was good and the chips were OK. The chips got greasy after they sat a few minutes. Neither of us cared for any of the sauces. The sweet and sour shrimp was good but messier than I remember the grilled shrimp being. That didn't stop me from eating the whole bowl. Yes ladies and gentlemen I ate the whole bowl of shrimp all by myself
Somewhere through here we ordered chicken finger for DS, he only had a choice of the chicken or Mac-n-cheese. Last time he was able to get a hot dog. The meats were better than I remember from last time. The turkey and pork were especially good, very moist, and not at all dry. The steak was a little underdone for my and DH's taste. It was medium rare teetering on the edge of rare. Neither of us cared for the sausage, it had a spice or flavoring in that gave it strong herbal type of taste. We were almost done with the meats before he brought out the potatoes and mixed veggies. I didn't try the mixed veggies becaused they looked like they were mostly cooked peppers and I don't care them, DH said they were OK. The cheesy taters were good but they tasted more buttery than cheesey, not that that's a bad thing. We both enjoyed the bread pudding dessert. Overall I liked the old menu better, I missed the rice and the pineapple with caramel. We enjoyed our meal and the food was good but this is not a "must do" for us anymore.

Mama Melrose-Fantasmic Dinner Package. I was a little nervouse about this ADR after some of the stuff I had read but I was pleasantly surprised. First off, all of the entrees that are on the regular menu are on the FDP menu. First the salad came out, I enjoyed the salad but it had a balsamic vinagrette dressing on it that was a little too tart for DH's taste. I thought the salad would have been better without the gorgonzola, it was a little strong with the dressing. We ordered the four cheese flatbread thinking DS would help us eat it. DS didn't like the looks of it, oh well more for me and DH
. I ordered the Chicken Parmesan, it was very good. It was a good size breast on a bed of spaghetti. The chicken was very tender and flavorful. I thought it could use some more sauce but thats just me. DH ordered the SPicy Italian Sausage, he thought it was good but wouldn't get it again. He said the sauce was sort of bland and the sausage was very hot. He finally cut op the sausage into small peices so he could have a bit of sausage with each bite, this improved the flavor alot. He said it was about the same as a similar dish at OLive Garden. DS ordered a cheese pizza. It looked just like the one we had earlier that he turned his nose up at but said his was very good. Me and DH both had the tiramisu for dessert even though other desserts were offered. The tiramisu was the biggest disappointment. We both thought it was bland. DH had chocolate ice cream that was good. When we got the check we noticed they had charged DS as a child, we pointed this out to the server and told him to charge him as an adult to increase his tip, we were on the DDP so it really didn't matter to us. He said it wouldn't help him any.
Overall the food was good and I would eat here again just not with the Fantasmic Package.
