Just back from 8 wonderful days, wanted to share the reviews while I remember everything. This was our second trip using the dining plan. My group was me, DH, and DS 2. Traveled with another family of DW, DH, DS 4, and DD 2. We liked pretty much everything we had, so I will try to be descriptive and tell you some things that stood out or that I didn't know about. We used the 4 year old's credits for his meals.

Lunch was at ASMo food court after we checked in. We had Asian chicken salad, chicken quesadilla, nuggets, and chicken sandwiches. Good, food court kind of food. FYI the chicken quesadilla is chicken and cheese - no peppers, onions, etc. I shared my quesadilla with my DS2. The other kids shared a nugget meal. Desserts could be cookies or rice krispy treats, but not brownies.

Dinner was at Ohana. We were all pretty pleased with it. Everyone had a different favorite meat. The sausage is the same as at breakfast. The kids ate the Ohana food - the liked the steak and pork. The steak was done about medium, but there are varying sizes on the skewer, so the larger pieces were medium rare and some of the small ones were closer to medium well. The potatoes had onions in them. I thought they were pretty onion-y, but no one else did. The salad dressing was sweet and tangy - there is a lot of dressing, though we all thought that made it very good.

Lunch was at Casey's hot dogs. We the moms and the 3 kids shared 3 corn dog nugget/fries meals. Dad's got hot dogs. It was good, but I was pretty greased out after this one. Dessert was packaged brownies or cracker jacks.

Dinner was at 50's prime time. We paid out of pocket for the glow cube drinks in a reusable cup. Best 5.99 I ever spent - kids were very busy with them. Our waiter was friendly but not crazy, but he did airplane my green beans after quietly getting my ok. The waiter next to us was a nut - he was terrorizing the huge table of cheerleaders beside us. We really enjoyed that -I really don't think our kids got it, but the adults liked it. We had adult beverages and they were STRONG. We had fried chicken (shared with the 2 year olds), meatloaf (shared also), the tuna (served on a salad), and a child's meatloaf. We were all happy with what we had, but it wasn't anywhere I am dying to go back to.

Lunch was pizza planet. It was good - it wasn't the best pizza I've ever had, but I wasn't expecting it to be either. The kids loved it there - they asked to go back. We split 5 pizza/salad combo's between us all, and it was sufficient. We got rice krispy treats for dessert - we got pretty addicted to those things. We went at 12:30, which was bad timing, but they changed the Lights, Motors, Action time on me from 10:50 to 11:20 - I didn't realize how long that show was either.

Dinner was Le Cellier. We got cheese plates x2 and cheese soup x2, as well as the shrimp cocktail as the appetizer for the 5 yo at the waitresses urging. She said that kids really like it - we cracked up about that all week. Our kids eat most anything, but not shrimp in a spicy sauce over wasabi slaw. Cheese plate was great if you like funky cheeses - blue cheese with a fruitcake thing, black diamond cheddar with a tomato jam, and goat cheese with kalamata olives. The cheese soup tasted like fondue - I love cheese and I love beer, but every bite my brain said "hey that cheese tastes like beer". I hope that makes sense, because it looks like it sounds like crazy talk. We shared the steaks and chicken with the two year olds and the 5 year old got a hot dog. Steaks and chicken came with a starch (either potatoes or risotto) and no vegetable.

2.13
Lunch was Ghirardelli sundaes and slushies from Goofy's candy company. The kids didn't know what to think.

Dinner was Whispering Canyon Cafe. I was sad as we got seated in the back corner behind the partition, but we had a great server - Prairie Grass Skirt and we had a great time. We all got the skillet and loved it - even the two (my DH and other DW) who wouldn't ever order something like that at home. The chicken had kind of a smoked flavor to it. Don't overlook the coleslaw, it was tangy and went great with the pulled pork. We all got milkshakes and the kids thought they were in heaven. We got to yell "we need ketchup" and the looks on the kids faces when people came running with all those bottles was great.

2.14
Breakfast at Akershus with the Princesses. Food came quickly on big square platters, we asked for more eggs and they brought a whole platter of them, which was a little crazy. Belle (in the yellow gown) was in the lobby, and Jasmine (in her fancy coat), Mulan, Snow White, and Aurora all came by. I don't think the 2 year olds ate a bite, but they were in love. Snow White put a huge lipstick kiss on my DS2 and he talked about it all day.

The Mom's stayed in World Showcase and the kids and Dad's went back for a nap. Our lunch was: A maragrita in Mexico, a pretzel in Germany, wine in Norway, a Bellini in Italy, the Chicken and Lamb platter at Tangerine in Morocco, wine and a cheese plate in France, and beer in England. Boy that looks bad in print...

Dinner was at the food court at ASMo - chicken parmesean, salads, chicken strips, etc.

2.15
Lunch was at Tusker house. It was so crowded! The whole park was so crowded! But the chocolate cake was good, so we got over it. Dh said the turkey wrap was bland, but he ate it in about 4 bites, so take that into consideration. Chicken sandwich and 1/2 chicken were good and shared with the kids.

Dinner was at Boma. There was chicken and prime rib - which you could eat plain - and 4 sauces to go with them. There was a hot, a spicy mustard, a tamarind, and a pecan something sauce. The ribs were done in a spicy tamarind (sweetish) glaze. I ate my weight in the white bean hummus and pap and couscous. I forgot how much I enjoy this place. The safari amber was good and went well with the food. I know people worry about it being too different here, but I think there is a good mix - I saw lots of adults with prime rib, chicken fingers and penne with meatballs at other tables.

2.16
Lunch was salads and burgers from the food court. The burgers were like the kind that you get at ice cream stands - big, greasy, yummy once in a blue moon.

Dinner was at Coral Reef. We sat on the second level and the view was great. We did not have a great waiter - he and I could not communicate about the dining plan. He insisted that all the kids got appetizers, I told him that 2 of the kids were not on the dining plan and that we were paying for them, then he insisted that we had to use the dining plan for them, then I said again that they were not on the dining plan, then he said you know you have to pay for them don't you? I refrained from banging my head on the table. The food was tasty, but the courses came too fast. Quite possibly because the waiter hated us after that. We got crab cakes, catfish, mahi mahi and steak. We got the 2 year olds the chicken breast and mac-n-cheese to share. The 5 year old got the chicken meal. The chocolate wave cake was very gooey and rich.

2.17
Breakfast was at Chef Mickey's (paid out of pocket). I planned this for the kids and it turned out that we all enjoyed it. We ate at 10:00. The food was hot, fresh, and abundant. There was a great variety of sweets, too - donuts, coffee cakes, pudding dishes. We were visited by Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, Chip and Dale, 2-3 times each. The kids had those character cell phones and Chip and Dale placed several calls to each other and who knows who else.

We used up our counter service credits getting sandwiches for the plane ride home. We used up our snack credits on popcorn, water, and ice cream bars.

Happy to answer questions.

Fantastic reviews! You totally made by Sunday night. I am hoping there's lots more to come!

Thanks,
Ann

Doesn't sound so bad as all that... ;) DW and I will be on our own next December for our anniversary  ; DM and a helper will be staying with the kids at home. I wouldn't put it past us to have a similar afternoon/evening.

Thanks for posting your reviews! I enjoyed reading them.
