This is my first time posting a dining review, so be gentle with me
This was actually a business trip for dh, which I took advantage of and decided to tag along. We stayed at the Swan and paid cash for all meals.
Sunday, April 6th - Our first meal on arrival day was at the soggy Magic Kingdom, not a sunny start to our trip, but hey we are in Disney
We headed for lunch at Columbia Harbor House. I had the Anchors Aweigh sandwich with Kettle Chips, while dh had the Fried Fish Basket. I just love this tuna sandwich, not too much mayo, not too fishy, just the right balance. Dh said his fish was good, crispy breading and pretty filling. For dinner we had adrs at Tonys Town Square...I know they have gotten a pretty bad rap a lot of the time, but I was pleasantly pleased with our meal and service. We decided to split an appetizer, entree and dessert, since neither of us were famished as we had snacked on a dole whip float
earlier in the day. First came the bread and dipping sauce, the bread was fresh and the dipping sauce not bad. For our appetizer we had the calamari, which was very yummy, the breading was perfect, not soggy, not burnt, just right. For our entree, the Spaghetti with Sweet Italian Sausage. This was a huge entree, I am not sure if it was this big because they knew we were sharing or if this is the normal size, but even sharing we had a hard time finishing this off. And finally dessert was the Pistachio Creme Brulee. Okay, I love Creme Brulee and I love Pistachios, so this was a heavenly dessert for me. I really had a hard time sharing, because I wanted this all to myself.
Coming up next....solo lunch at Sunshine Seasons and dinner at Biergarten.

and then a mother and teenage son joined as shortly thereafter and they were extremely nice. The soup today was a Potatoe Leek, very good, but not as thick as I would have liked. The pretzel bread, cold salads, red cabbage, spaetzle, pork and salmon were all very good. Dh had some cold sausage, which he said tasted like slim jims, and he had the chicken as well, plus a few things off the kids section, such as mac and cheese and chicken nuggets. From the dessert section we had a cookie with glazed almond slices on top and the apple streudel both were good as well. Dh also had a beer, can't remember the name, but he enjoyed it and I stopped in France after dinner to grab a Grey Goose Citron Slush, and all was good this evening.
Anyway, I got a Mango Slush drink, that was quite good to drink while I watched the new Block Party Parade. Dinner that night with dh was at 50's Prime Time Diner, we had a 6:35 p.m. adr, but dh was feeling hungry around 6:00 so we checked in early and only had to wait about 10 minutes. We had a marvelous server who had the right of balance of playfulness and seriousness. We both decided to try Dad's Electric Lemonade, which is a very nice drink, and I was surpised at how strong, for some reason I figured Disney would try watering down the drinks, but not this one
For our entrees I had the Old Fashioned Pot Roast, beef was pretty tender, I could have used some more mashed potatoes, but overall, a nice meal. Dh ordered the Traditional Meatloaf, which he claimed to be good, but not as good as mine, not sure if that was true or if he was just sucking up
Dh did not finish his green beans however and tried to put them on my plate and our waiter came over and fed them to him, it was quite amusing. For dessert, my choice was the S'mores
