Hi Everyone,
Here are some details of my 4 night trip. At first, I booked everything separatly... but then I had CRO work the numbers. It was about 150.00 cheaper to book a package with dining, then paying room only etc. I had budgeted about 300.00 for food.
I traveled with my 10 yr old son... so he had to pay the adult $35.00 a day.
Here are my reviews, I hope they will help some of you in your choices!

***** I am still salivating over this meal!! This was THE BEST meal I have ever had at Disney. First, the soup was just as good as the Hype! Then, the breadsticks were heavenly. For someone who was on Atkins for a year - and off of it completely for four days, this was heaven! Third, the French Dip sandwhich was so YUMMY! It melted in my mouth. Then finally, the Raspberry Sorbet was deliious. PLUS the service was fantasic. Kyle loved his burger, but filled up on his shake. He only ate a bit of his dessert - he was just too full! A++++
Dinner - Liberty Tree Character Dinner
Meal - All you can eat - Turkey, Steak, Ham, Potatoes, Mac and Cheese, Stuffing. With Goofy, Chip and Dale, Minnie and Pluto
Total (30.37 1 TS Used and 13.71 Cash for Kids Meal)
**** Well, what can I say about this place. It was our only character meal, and Kyle softened up when he was one on one with the characters (he wanted NOTHING to do with them all weekend!). The interaction was great, and they were SO good with everyone.... each came around twice.
BUT>> the food service was terrible. It took forever to get our food, refills on drinks and dessert. Then another 10 minutes just to pay! The food was GOOD ... nothing great, but Kyle loved the Mac and Cheese and Potatoes.

Snack - Sprite at MGM ($2.15 1 snack used)

**** As you can see, I did not do as well as others for the meal plan. We do not have expensive taste, and used many for lunches and breakfasts which do not cost as much. Overall, I thought it was just TOO MUCH food for us - especially during the hot days - many times we did not feel like eating.
I think if I was travelling with my husband - for an adult weekend, we would definatly dine well using the meal plan. BUT if just going with one of my kids, I would just pay cash, eat mostly counter meals, and have one or two nice meals or character dinners.
