Just got back from our trip Nov. 21-26. No pics but LeCellier was by far the best. I had the mushroom filet, wife had the prime rib. Both were excellent, I could and did pull my filet apart with my fork and knife without cutting and my wife could cut her PR with her fork. Our kids got the childrens sirloin which was about a 5 oz portionn and cooked perfectly with zero fat or membrane. If you cut it across the grain you could cut it very thin, which my kids like. Got the cheese soup and it was excellent. A tip I did was to get a half carafe of wine. The glass was $9, 1/2 carafe $20, Bottle was $30. I got three full glasses with the 1/2 carafe and the waiter poured nearly all of it as he opened the bottle at my table. Great Meal

Coral Reef: Not that good at all. My wife got the seafood pasta which had no sauce but rather more of a broth and it was not very flavorfull at all. I got the grouper(special). Tasted fishy and came with a risotto that I did not eat all of . Overall very small portions and not real good.

Chef Mickey's: kid's love it, the best thing I had was the seafood salad which had shrimp and large bay scallops. The prime rib actually did not look like rib at all but rather more like half of a whole strip. Not real good. It was fun for the kids however as they did not eat much anyway.

Mama Melrose: Great little italian place. Not worth it if you are on the meal plan however because the prices are so low. I feel this is the best priced restaurant on disney. It is not priced much higher than a local mom and pop italian eatery, with very similar prices. I got the seafood fra diavolo. Very good had 4-5 very big shrimp, calamari slices, clams, mussles etc. Very good. Wife got the chicken Parm. which was huge and by far the most popular dish. It was only $16.99. Tip get the calamari appetizer. It comes with a large bowl of the marinara, which is very thick/hearty and has a good spice kick. We kept what was left over from the calamari to dip our bread in it. This place is where you go if you are paying out of pocket. Very good and priced well.

Wolfgang Puck Cafe: I had read that this board was giving a warning about this place. We go here every trip and love it. Staff was great, had several different people come to our table, had my water filled several times. FOOD WAS AWESOME. We got the rainbow roll sushi, and artichoke dip as appetizer and the dip was great, and the sushi was very well prepared as it was rolled tightly with no pieces falling apart and very fresh. I got the mahi-mahi which consisted of two pretty good size pieces and an excellent risotto. Very tastey, much better than coral reef. My wife got the strip steak and she ate all of it and said it was excellent. The kicker though was the kids meals, they both got the tic tac toe pizza, it was about 9" across and neither could eat all of it. Of Course WGP is known for it's pizza which has some of the best sauce there is. The only negative thing was the wait. Not the seating wait as we were seated 10 min. after checking in for our reservation. The time in between ordering and getting served is what I am talking about. Although the total time we were there was 1 1/2 hours and we had dessert. Every one should try it Wolf gang puck's Cafe is very good. Tip the salads are huge, the table next to us got them and they were the largest, piled high salads I have ever seen.

Coral Reef was very dissapointing as we waited nearly 45 minutes from the time we checked in for our reservation and the food was not that good. We will not got there again, as we went there in Feb. 08 and loved it. I had cous cous, that was not offered this time. The only good thing about Coral Reef is the aquarium.:thumbsup2

Thanks for the reviews! I am bummed to hear about Coral Reef, we are eating there in January and the only reason is that I think the nieces will love the entire underwater theme....maybe they will change the menu in the next 6 weeks!

Thanks for the reviews! Glad to hear LeCellier is as good as I remember.:thumbsup2

I'm getting worried about all the negative reviews of Coral Reef. We are eating there in 2 weeks since I wanted to get the personalized menu for my daughter. We've always loved aquariums, we used to have 63 fish tanks in our house. ;)

I plan on going there with an open mind and enjoying it since we will be in disney after all. :goodvibes

AGREEEEEE on Coral Reef! We were quite disappointed with it, the food was mediocre and the service was worse. I would definitely not go back there.

Coral Reef was on my to do list. But I've read so many bad reveiws about this place we pretty much decided not to go here. Thanks for the reveiw.

Great review. Sorry to hear about the coral reef though....has always been a favorite of ours. Disappointing to hear so many bad reviews on it lately!

Like I said, We went to the Coral Reef in Feb. of this year and I had the Grilled Mahi Mahi with the Cous Cous and it was awesome. That wasn't offered this time and my wife's pasta dish was just terrible. Very bland with, instead of a sauce, it had more of a bland broth. The atmosphere however is still great with the tanks and everything, but the food was just not that good. Wolfgang Pucks's was very good however as I basically ordered the same thing at WGP's as I did at Coral Reef and the serving at WGP's was twice the size as it had two filets of fish and the flavor was awesome. Everyone needs to give WGPs another try. Just don't get in a hurry, but the wait is worth it. :thumbsup2

We were at Coral Reef April"08 & my entire family loved it!! The portion sizes was just right. I find many of the restaurants give way to much food for our family's taste. I loved the bread that came out before the meal-very tasty! The service was quick & friendly.

I am sorry to hear that so many of you have had negitive experiences.

Perhaps since we have been there things have changed.

Yes, I must admit the bread was by far the best part of the meal as we asked for seconds. They bring out the oil and balsamic vinegar dip with it that my 4 yr old loved. But that was about it. :thumbsup2
