From what I can remember of where DH and I ate on our trip because we went on a 4 day cruise right after and all we've done is eat for two weeks:

We were not on a dining plan since we stayed at SOG.

Sunday 6 Nov- Arrived mid early afternoon and grabbed lunch at SOG, Evergreen Sports Bar-DH had a burger and I had a club sandwich. I think their food is pretty good. Dinner- Ohana-Best meal of the trip. Ate everything except the shrimp because I'm allergic. Turkey was pretty good, so was the steak and pork, sausage was bland. Potatoes were very good. Pineapple bread pudding was fabulous We shared a Lapu Lapu. What a great drink. We voted this our best meal and one we will definitely do again.

Monday, 7 Nov - Breakfast at SOG- great deal for the money- $7.99 pp for all you can eat buffet including oj and apple juice and coffee. Lunch - 50's Prime Time-Not impressed. I had fried chicken, DH had pot pie. Both were okay. Service was not very good. Dinner - Earl of Sandwich at DTD. Best deal of the week. I had The All American and DH had The Scuddeto

Tuesday 8 Nov(MK) - Breakfast - SOG, Lunch - Crystal Palace- Outstanding food. Good selection and great flavors. Their banana bread pudding was good too. Dinner - Pecos Bill- DH had a burger, I had bbq pork. They were both good.

Wednesday 9 Nov- (Epcot)-Breakfast - SOG, Lunch - Electric Umbrella - DH and I had burgers. Dinner - San Angel Inn - very good food, great atmosphere. I had Filete Motuleno and DH had Plato Mexicano. The only place we had to wait for more than 10 minutes to be seated. We had 7 pm ADR's and didn't get seated until 7:35.

Thursday - 10 Nov(AK)- Breakfast-Kona- YUM!! DH and I shared Tonga Toast and a fruit plate. Plenty of food for two. Lunch - Flame Tree-Barbeque pork sandwich platters-very good. Dinner- Poly Luau- show pretty good, food okay. BTW, if you don't eat chocolate, they have a vanilla version of their volcano dessert. DH said it was good.

Friday - 11 Nov (EMH at MK and onto Epcot) Breakfast - SOG, Lunch - Cosmic Ray's - both had burgers, once again very good. Dinner - Le Cellier- food is good, but I've had better steaks (Ruth's Chris steak house is by far much better). Cheese soup was outstanding and the maple creme brulee was very good too.

Wednesday and Friday we sampled a few things from the F&W festival. That Banfi champagne was excellent. I sampled the arroz con pollo from the Puerto Rico stand and it was exactly the way my MIL's friend makes it. Very good. We only sampled a couple of things because of dinner ADR's, but there was quite a variety.

Wow! Thanks for the awesome reviews!

I am glad to hear good things about Crystal Palace, we have ADR's for two nights there in January.
I also have also loved Cosmic Rays.

I'm sad to here 50's Prime Time was a fluke. We were planning on trying that one someime, maybe as a walk in if the wait was short.

Good reviews. We've eaten at Evergreens several times, not recently though. Loved the chili and the pizza was one of the best on property, imo.
Also had Bitburger on tap!

And how much does thet steak at Ruth Chris' cost<vbg>.

Enjoyed reading your reviews ~ Thanx for posting.

Thanks for the reviews. We think the SOG breakfast buffet is a good deal, especially for my teenage boys who eat about 20 pounds of food at each meal! ;) We also enjoy Evergreens for a quick, cheap meal. Glad you had a wonderful trip!

Thanks for the reviews. I'm glad to hear you enjoyed the Kona Cafe breakfast. We love having lunch at Kona, but I'll be having breakfast there for the first time in a couple of weeks. :)

Ruth's Chris steaks are not a whole lot more than Le Cellier, maybe $1-2. Like most steak places, sides are extra. I just think for $27, it should have been better than it was.

Thanks for your dining report. Have to agree that our steaks at LC were only so-so, but the breadsticks and soup were out-of-this-world! Yumm. Pecos Bill's remains our favorite for quick burgers. The toppings bar is great.

For your reviews,I think the food at SOG is great and a hidden gem of a dining spot at WDW. :goodvibes :wizard: :wave2:
