I just wanted to verify. I think I get the 180+10 because we will be staying at Pop. Is the 180 days out from my check in date of 9/14/2015 or is it from the day I need to make the reservation 9/16/15?

No worries. I ask questions like this all the time. You think you know for sure, but then find yourself second guessing...

As for FP, I'm about 90% sure it's 60 days. This year will be our first trip with that option so it's all new to me.

It is 60 days out from your check-in date to make FP reservations. However, unlike with dining reservations, FP's can be made at midnight Eastern time at your 60 day mark.

60 days before check-in, you can make FP+ selections for your entire trip. Good luck. :)

You see you learn something! So I can do the whole midnight fastpasses but dining reservations is when that department opens that day?

Caveat: You must have your resort reservations and park tickets linked in your account on My Disney Experience in order to make FP+ at 60 days.

Correct! So if your 60 day mark is June 8th, you can make them at midnight the night "before." Or in my case, since I'm in central time, I Would be able to make mine at 11 PM on June 7th. Dining doesn't work the same way, though. You have to get up early the day of to do it in the morning. I believe online reservations start at 6 am and you can call in at 7. I've never booked a trip before the 180 mark though, so I'm not positive on those times; someone correct me if I'm wrong!

This! I would suggest doing the FPs at midnight to ensure you get all the attractions you want and can change the times to how they fit your own needs! Enjoy! :)

I'm so glad you posted this and everyone gave all the information as i had the same questions! I used FP in october, but didn't book anything until the month before. For this trip i will be sure to book it midnight before our 60 days. And as for dining reservations again i didn't realize it was 180 days out. This time i will be sure to book early as last year i had to search every day to get the restaurants we wanted. thanks!

Dining reservations can be made 180 days before your arrival date. Since you're staying onsite at a Disney resort you will be able to make reservations for your arrival date and the first 10 days of your vacation on the 180 day. Reservations open:
Online: 6 AM Eastern time
Phone: 7 AM Eastern time

Here's a calculator to determine your 180 day and your 60 day:
