Dining Reservations

Do we call the regular dining reservation number for our ADR's or is there a benefit from DVC to book ADR's? This is the first time we have used our DVC.

The call to MS is toll free, the call to dining is not.

Current telephone wait times for MS is anywhere between 15 to 40 minutes. I would call dining direct.

I've never found any benefit to calling MS for dining reservations, especially since I 'm usually making those reservations in the evening when they are closed.

I get free nationwide long distance on my cell so I use it for calls (even have them on speed dial).

Not now because of the December booking freenzy, but I prefer to call MS because of all of the questions, hoops you have to go through with Disney Dining.

I had better luck with MS last week. I originally called the regular dining number and got an "all circuits busy" message. I got through to MS with ~10 min wait, which I felt was pretty good since it is such a busy time of year and the message originally said that the wait would be 20 mins. They were able to set up my ADR easily.

I usually do it through MS, and I was able to make and change some this week with wait times of 5 minutes or less.

WDW dining opens at 7 a.m. and MS opens at 9.

WDW Dining line is also open later and on holidays.

No matter which number you call, they use the same reservation system.

What happened to making dining reservations 180 days before your trip? Now it's 90 days. Will it return to 180 days?

No.
