I want to call ahead and possibly book a dining reservation when I am in Disney in less then a month. I want to call now as I know the restaurants get booked quickly. The problem is there is definitely 2 of us I want to make the reservation for possibly 3. My sister may be joining us on this trip and I won;t know for sure until the time gets closer if she is able to get off of work to come with us. So if I make the reservation for 3 but only 2 show up...what happens or what should I do? Maybe I shouldn't even book anything since I won't know if it will be for 2 or 3?
Thanks for your help!

I would go ahead and make it for 3 because if she doesn't come then you will still get a table but if you make it for 2 and she comes they may only have a table for 2.

Also make it now because reservations are really full & almost impossible to get this late. But people cancel all the time so good luck & have a great trip.
:yay:

Make it for 3 and then just 2 show up if that is the case. We changed a ressie two years ago while at MK at Guest Relations and they had nothing for 2, but gave us the one for 3 and told us to just say the other party couldn't make it.

Less then a month? I hope you dont mean around Thanksgiving? If so, could be kind of exciting.

I would make it for either 2 or 3. Since it's only a one person difference, Disney will accomidate you. I had a reservaiton for 2 people one time to Chef Mickey's, then my cousin was going to come join us. I called to change it and couldn't, they told me to just show up with the third person, so we did without problems :)

Yeah I will be down there the week before Thanksgiving. This was an unexpected trip I just booked yesterday! I usually book trips months in advanced so this is a first and now I am trying to rush to get everything in order. I was afraid if I booked 3 and only my husband and I were able to go that they would turn us away if (my sister) the 3rd person couldn't make it. I am glad to hear that may not happen.
