Dining reservations timing

We tried booking some dinner reservations last night / this morning at the 60 day mark for when we are going to be at the park.

What time do the reservations open? We have been booking things for our Disney cruise and they always open at midnight. We assumed it would be the same for dining but things didn’t show up until the morning and not all the restaurants appeared to open up at the same time.

Any help would be appreciated - especially if you have any tips for getting Space 220 or a MK dessert party.

ADR's open at 6:00am EST. Sometimes they open up a few minutes before, sometimes not.

I can't really help you with tips, it's been a while since I've tried for "harder to get" ADR's. Last time we did a really popular place, ADR's were 180 days and not as tricky to come by since they moved them to 60 days. Try to book those later in your trip so you can take advantage of the 60+10 (for onsite resort guests). And try to snag those first. Good luck!

Also, as some others have noted happened to them, my experience was that when I tried to book through the website on the desktop as usual, it showed no openings anywhere, but then I went to the app and was able to book the entire trip. This was abt two weeks ago.

Have seen several threads where people see ADR's getting cancelled closer to the date of the reservation. I would assume people make lots of ADR's ahead of time and then change their mind as the date approaches. They have to cancel at least the day prior to avoid a 'no show' fee. Might try looking closer to the date of your trip.
