Dining Reservations Question

My 60 days will be in July. Can my daughter get the Disney App, set up her own profile, and link the family? I have us linked under my profile. I ask because I want to know if when it is my time to get ADRs can we both go in at the same time (5:45ET) and she try for some restaurants and I try for others. Trying to up our odds of getting what want. Thanks for your help,

Yes she can! As long as y are both on the reservation you can both make them. My husband and I do this too.

Yup you can. Just be careful, what happens with us is whatever our number 1 pick is we never get on the day we want so we end up redoing the whole plan so we can do the things we want.

Make sure to sit down and rate which ones you want most and build from there

We've never tried for Olga's but I heard its a beast to book. California Grill is always one of our favorites! Good luck!

One more question - we need 7 for Cal Grill. Is it easier to find for 8 or 7 or doesn't matter? Thanks.

Go for the 8 since the computer system seems to prefer even numbers.

We always do our exact number. I found over the years that they book based on a number versus table set ups and they move the tables later. So for example we really wanted a restaurant once and we could only get 1 person booked for it at first. Eventually we did get the rest of the party but I would go for smaller numbers in case there are other "odd" numbered parties

I just reserved my ADRs for August and got every one for a family of 4. They included Olga's and Cali Grill. A good tip for dining reservations (if you are staying at a Disney Resort) - take advantage of the "plus 10 day" rule. I checked Cali Grill and Olga's leading up to my reservation date and saw that Olga's was always booked at around 60 + 4, so I made my Studios park pass for the 6th day of my trip and got Olga's easy. Did the same for Cali Grill - scheduled it on the 5th day of trip. It is always better to schedule your most important "must do" restaurants as late in the trip as possible to take full advantage of the "plus 10 day" rule (again - if you are eligible for it by staying at a Disney resort).

If you are staying somewhere that you only get the 60 days, unless things change, Olga's and Cali Grill our almost impossible to get.
