Dining Reservations Paid in Advance?

I am going to DLRP on 2nd Dec.. wasn't sure if the system is as "must book ADR as soon as you are able to or you'll starve!!" as WDW, or if it was more relaxed

Upon checking DLRP website, I see you can book 2 months from your trip... fab!

But what I am unsure of is, do I need to pay anything in advance? Do I need to give them my debit card details even if payment isn't required?

You don't pay in advance, just make reservations. They will ask for your name, hotel and phone number.
