Dining reservations only showing 178 days out

I have been trying to plan out our dining reservation priorities and noticed that MDE was only showing 178 days out instead of the normal 180 days. For instance, today is 2/28/19 and it should show options for 8/27/19 but the calendar only allows me to select up through 8/25/19. I thought it was due to MDE being glitchy lately, but it’s been doing this for a few weeks now. There are no recent posts about this on the board so it must be something I am doing wrong. I tried my Ipad, my phone and my computer. I cleared my cache, browsing history, and cookies, and used several different browsers with no luck. As we are approaching our actual 180 day mark soon, I am reaching out to the Dis experts to find out what may be the problem and what suggestions you have to fix the issue. Thank you.
 
I am having the same exact problem! I was able to book ADRs for the 27th plus 10 yesterday and now it only lets my book for the 25th ?! I really hate Disney IT by now , planning used to be fun, now it is only frustrating and agonizing
 
I read this thread this morning and thought nothing of it as my MDE was showing the correct dates until I was logging in now and playing around getting ready for my 4am wake up for my 180 days out. Lo and behold, now it was showing only 178 days! I hope it works in the morning!

I noticed the day after I posted this that it was showing 180 days out, but then a few hours later, it was back to 178 days ever since. It's so frustrating. I hope you didn't experience any issues when you books your reservations.

Thank Goodness it worked this morning! However, I went to look for some dinner ones and it's now back to showing 178! I have to book the second half of the trip with the big ticket reservations on the 7th and I really hope it's fixed by then!
 
You should be able to call and book as well.
My only issue with calling is that I'm in Canada and it's 4Am here when the online window opens and I don't really want to stay up for another hour or more until the phone lines open.

As a Californian, I can relate, especially when booking FP+, but it is at least an option. Before we were DVC members we would always use a travel agent so they would book ADRs for us, that is one thing I do miss.

You have it even worse than I do! My first trip we had a travel agent and she booked ours too. It was a huge help, especially for a first trip. I would have had no idea even where to start!
 
We called Disney IT today so I thought I would share what I found out. He said they are updating the website and people are finding it to be glitchy during this time. He specifically said they are focusing on dining portion of website. He recommended using Google Chrome incognito mode and clearing cashe/history for best results. We can call in if we find it doesn't work the morning of our 180 day mark, however, as others have mentioned, I have to wake up at 3am to make reservations online and I don't want to have to sit around for an hour waiting to call in. I guess we will see if his suggestions works consistently and hopefully they complete the dining web pages soon to cut down on these issues. Thanks everyone.

Thank you for this Natalie. Today is my 180-days and while the APP was showing September 1st, it kept saying the page could not load. When I tried through my computer using Firefox, Disney's website would not show September 1. Only up to August 31.

I came across this thread; read your post; followed your instructions; and it worked perfectly!
