I am a fan of making dining ADRS online and have successfully done so my past trips. However, I am now having problems and just spoke to a Disney CM who told me this is the way it is...

OK..so when you reach your 180 day mark you can make dining reservations up to 10 days out - right?
But, when I go to MDE it's only allowing me to make dining reservations for the 180 day mark and not beyond even though I have all my resorts ADRS linked, the calendar drop down highlights the days of my trip and my trip itinerary shows days of entire trip

A CM just told me that you can only book up to the 180 day mark online and not beyond even if you do have ADRS. You need to call to make ADRS beyond the 180 day mark. Not only does that sound ridiculous and futile to me, but I distinctly remember making ADRS online past the 180 day mark within the past year for my past trips.

On my 180 day mark I called dining and made a few ADRs thinking the system was wacky that night...but ran into problem again tonight. It's not that I mind calling dining, but I prefer to look around online to see my options.

Does anyone know if this is true? So it seems if I want to make ADRS online I can only do one day at a time? That just seems silly...

I was able to make them all online for an 8 day trip at the 180 day mark for our last trip (we went in November).

I had the exact same problem this morning. It only let me book the first day of our trip even though all the days of our trip were highlighted
on the calendar. Extremely frustrating. I have always done my ADRs online for the entire trip at the 180 day mark. This is first time I have
had this happen. Had to call at 7 and do them over the phone. Told the CM that it is very frustrating to waste an hour trying to make ADRs
and the computer wouldn't let me. She said it must be a computer glitch. Thankfully I got all the ADRs I wanted and basically in the time
frame I wanted with Canada being the exception. Got Le Cellier but not for the time I wanted. Hopefully they will get the computer problem
figured out.

I've always been able to book entire trips ADR's at the 180 day mark, but this year that day was this past Monday and I was unable to. It only let me book the first day. Had to call to get the rest.

I obviously don't know, but I would guess glitch. I've been trying to move around a couple of reservation times and have experienced multiple glitches today. Mine opened for the 180+10 on the correct day for my upcoming trip back when I first made ADR's.

I had this problem too several months ago- but I have a DVC stay and its a known problem with DVC reservations

This happened to me a year ago with my trip last August. I had a room only reservation and was hoping it won't happen this time because I have a package. I make ADR's Monday and am hoping it doesn't happen again... I have jury duty that morning! Pretty sure the court will frown upon my needing to call about my vacation in 6 months.

Are you all DVC members? Apparently it's been going on for awhile. There is a thread about this in on the DVC forum.

Today is day 180 for me. I was only able to book online for my arrival day. The other days of my resort stay are highlighted, but Everytime I try to book for day 181 or day 182 it says an error occurred or we are unable to process this, at this time, try again later. And I'm not a DVC member.

Is that what's been going on? How completely asinine. I just figured the site was down.

I had the same problem when I went to make my ADR's 10 days ago at our 180 day mark. I called and spoke with a CM and it was because I have two accounts (I didn't know I did). She was able to fix the issue and I was able to make all my ADR's at that point. I would call and talk to IT to see if they can fix it for you.

I am renting DVC points, however...I usually rent DVC and didn't have this problem in the past. In fact my trip this May is using DVC points and I was able to book beyond 180 mark online. I am able to look up the reservation for the date, but when I go to book it, it won't let me book it. Does anyone have the # for IT...I can't seem to find where I wrote it down....Thanks

This was the problem I had last week. I am DVC and after logging out and back in, my dates were there, but it would give me a time and then tell me it couldn't process at this time. Over and over and over. Didn't matter which day of my trip I tried. I finally had to call. I didn't get the exact times I wanted, so I kept checking online. It took several days and many many attempts to actually change a time, without getting that error message. This was on two different computers with 3 different browsers, an iPhone and an iPad. Very frustrating.

I've seen other threads of people having this problem (not just DVC) and when they call, they're able to do the whole +10 as they should. The CMs have just been telling them there's some thing wrong with the site (shocking?!;))

I would like to add that if you make your ADR and you don't receive an email confirmation for it be sure to double check it online.

A couple of mine glitched. I got a confirmation number on the website when I made the ADR, but then I didn't get a confirmation email. When I went back to check it, the date was wrong on all the ones I made that I hadn't received an email confirmation for. The ones I did get an email for had the correct dates in the system.

It's definitely glitchy.

I called IT and the CM was very nice..told me I should be able to book 10 outs from 180 and since I was able to search the reservation but not make it there was a problem in a certain program area. He wrote down the problem and said he would submit it but honestly told me it probably would take time as they are working on many issues. So I thanked him, called WDW Dine and finished making my ADRS. And as I made them, they showed up on MDE reservations. And then, as I usually do, as I fine tune trip plans I will go to MDE and change some and by that time all my trip days will be well within the 180 day deadline...Oh well...sometimes technology isn't all that magical.

I am having the exact same problem! I had to get my travel agent to make mine for me because I was at work and couldn't sit on the phone. My sister is going the same time as I am and didn't have any trouble at all. So frustrating. I'm worried about when it comes time to make FP+ reservations.

We had all sorts of trouble today making online ressies past day one. On the phone there was no issue.
