Dining reservations for March with no schedule

Question - if the March schedule isn't up yet for when I will be there in March, how do I know when to make dining reservations? I don't know which of the two parks I would be at on that day, as it depends on hours, shows, things like that, right? Help! :confused3

When are you going, and what shows are you concerned about? The schedules for most of those shows are fairly consistent.

March 20 thru March 26. Not sure which shows are even going on then!

Okay, based on conjecture and previous schedules, that will be Spring Break time and should be fairly busy, and since you'll be there over a weekend, you can expect long park hours, with DL closing at 12 most likely, DCA closing at 10.

Fantasmic! and World of Color are later shows. F! usually starts around 9, and the first WOC is 8:00 usually, and since you're going during a busy time, they'll likely have a second WOC at 9:15, possibly a third showing even later. Fireworks are usually around the time of F! (but not overlapping). Basically, as far as making dinner reservations, unless you're used to eating later, you will probably eat well before those shows.

Yes, it's Spring Break for people pretty much all over March and April indeed. Should be busy - but fun! (we were there two years ago at the same time). We are actually not there for a weekend. We come in on a Sunday, so will probably pop over to the park in the evening if we don't get there too late - and then we check out of the hotel the following Saturday morning. So our park days are really Monday thru Friday. So not sure what hours are for during the week at that point?

Fantasmic! and World of Color we definitely want to see. And the Fireworks. We like to eat earlier, and avoid the busier times.... Just so hard to know when to book the dining without know what the exact show times start - as well as what day they are on...

I didn't do the math, but if your 60 days out or less, you can call to make your dinner ressies. Ask the CM on the phone what the hours for both parks will be for the days you're there. We did a 5:40 pm dinner at Ariels with WOC during thanksgiving week. We showed up for our spot around 7:30pm, they let us into the viewing area about 15 minutes later. We got a railing spot and waited about an hour before the show started. We liked our all our food and thought the PS for WOC was well worth the cost of dinner.

During your visit on March 20 - 26, mostly the park hours will be 8-12 at DL and 10-10 at DCA on each of those days. But last year, DCA didn't have WoC and the park closed around 7pm. But this year, I would expect DCA to close around 10pm.

Just like what the pp said that you can book 60 days out for dinner ressies. I would expect WoC to be running at 9:00 and 10:15. And possibly a third show will be running on those night. F! should be running twice each night and RDCT at 9:30pm.
