Dining reservations and Disney Magical Express

Hello everyone.

I didn't quite know where to post this. We've been to Disney many times but have never used the Magical Express transportation. We are staying at the Grand Floridan and on the last day, we have a dining reservation at Ohana at 10:25 a.m. and our flights departure time is 3:45 p.m.

Will we be able to make our transportation time for departure to the airport? I have no idea when we will be picked up from the Grand Floridian to the airport for 3:45 p.m. flight departure.

That's pushing it - you need to be at your bus stop ready to go by 12:30 (assuming a 12:45 pickup time)

Breakfast seatings may run late, so your 10:25 reservation may not get sat until 10:45, leaving you an hour and 15 minutes at the most for your meal

If it's a domestic flight, you will be picked up sometime between 12:30 and 1:00. You will be given an exact time the night before you leave. Keep in mind that the time you are assigned is the time that your bus is scheduled to leave, so you need to be at the platform, completely ready to go, 15 minutes before that. You should also allow 20 to 30 minutes to stop by the restroom and pick up anything you've left with bell services.

So, working backwards: you need to plan on being back around 11:45. That means you should be leaving the poly by 11:30. That gives you about an hour for breakfast. It's probably doable, but you're going to have to rush and you may have to skip a character or two, depending on how long you have to wait to be seated.

I always allow at least 90 minutes for a character meal.

Thank you everyone. Will try to move the dining reservation. Keep my toes and fingers crossed that I'm able to get a better time. Would hate to miss Ohana, love that breakfast.
