Hello!

I am going to DLP in late April 2012. I've been reading reviews and have decided I would definitely like to have lunch or dinner at Walt's. How far in advance is it necessary to call for a reservation? I'm used to WDW and needing a reservation at the 6 month window. I see DLP's window is 2 months. Should I be calling 2 months in advance? 1 month? Just wait til I get there?

I know we also would like to dine at Agrabah buffet and Annettes. Do both of these need an advance reservation?

Any advice would be appreciated- thank you!

A week or so before you get there is fine for Walts :) - if you're going to DLP in school termtime and midweek, you can wait to reserve your meals when you arrive at the resort (your hotel reception will do it for you on request, or you can go to City Hall and reserve there). You can reserve for Agrabah Cafe, but you can't reserve for Annettes, so go there for lunch or if you want dinner there, go just before the park closes to avoid having to queue to get a table.

I did make reservation at Walt's 2 weeks before our trip.

We booked fro Walt while we were there in August. Manage to get a sunday 7pm reservation, booking just the day before. We also managed to get a same day reservation for Aragbah. Totally different from the problems you have get ADR's for WDW!

Wonderful! Thank you for the feedback, good to know.

I was under the impression that if you wanted a lunch at Walt's you could, pretty much, book the day before?

Outside of weekend/busy times, yes you can. Walts is not open every day though, in low season.

I tried booking Walt's by using the reservation number the week before we travelled last October. I was informed that Walts was only open for lunch and shuts when the park closed which I think was 5PM.

What sort of season would April 23-26, 2012 be considered? I'm expecting it to still be semi-busy since Easter is April 8. Not packed, but I bet Spring Break holidays are still occuring in Europe at that time. (??) We will be there Mon-Weds for sure; don't know if we will have time yet on the 26th to have park time since we will be flying back to Oregon, US that day.

that will be classed as midweek low season Alice, the main park will probably not be open past 7pm midweek, so Walts is unlikely to be open for dinner, only lunch (and it may not be open every day of your stay).

We went end of May this year and as it was off-season Walt's was only open Wednesdays through Sundays with the last seating at 3:45pm, even on the days the park was open until 10pm. It only serves dinner in the evening in the full summer season (July and August).

If you really want to eat there, Alice, then I'd try to phone and book before you go as if it's still closed on Mondays and Tuesdays next year that only gives you the chance on Wednesday.
