Dining Reservation before DL opens

We have a dining reservation for Minnie's Character breakfast at the Plaza Inn at 9:10 on Sept 9. Disneyland doesn't open that day until 10:00, but there are Magic Morning hour that day starting at 9:00. We are staying at Hojo's, not on property so I know we can't use the Magic Morning hour. We shouldn't have a problem getting in early to get to our reservation, right? The dining reservation lady said all we need is admission to the park to use our reservation. Thanks for the help!

You will still be able to eat at Minnie's I had the same question a little while ago. I'm using my MM the day before my early breakfast at Minnie's on day with MM and I was assured it wouldn't be a problem, not having access to MM.

We had a breakfast booking at Ariel's Grotto. We just let the CM know about the booking & they let us straight through the ropes, no hassels whatsoever!

At the far left there is a gate specifically for those with reservations at Minnie's. They will check your name on a list and then escort you to the restaurant. At least that is the way it worked for us in July.
