Dining Report: Cinderella's Dinner 2/5/06 (PICTURES ADDED on pg 2)

I think I figured out how to post pictures. Here I am at Cinderella's with Perla.

DisneyDreamer2 - Love your photos - thanks for sharing! :)

DD wants to dine in the castle again and I was thinking about lunch (DH doesn't want to do the breakfast again - been there, done that! :rolleyes2 )

Now, I'm leaning towards a late ADR for dinner, maybe during Wishes! :goodvibes

I only have one question, if anyone can help me out I'd really appreciate it! :teeth: Does everyone in the party (including children) receive a lithograph, or is it one per party? TIA

The lithograph is one per party. I thought dinner during Wishes was very magical! And the restaurant will be less crowded afterwards when the fairy godmother, Suzy and Perla come out to do the wishing ceremony. Having the later seating also allowed us no line to meet Cinderella downstairs and all the time we wanted with her. It was actually very quiet during dinner, not the chaos that can ensue during breakfast and lunch. And they keep the lights dimmed and play two more songs after the fireworks end. Very special and Magical indeed!

Thanks for the photos. I've never seen photos of inside the castle before.
Ironically, the castle looks like somewhere my boys would love - it looks spectacular - and yet, they'd be loathe to meet princesses. Hmmmmmm. How confusing.

Shame they don't do a knights meals for boys or something like that.

On the other hand, my 2 year old is a girl........... hmmmm

We received two - paid for two children (youngest was free) and received two lithos and two photo packages.

Oh! I was "friends with" Perla that night!! I LOVED doing our last presentation with only 2 or 3 families. :) It's so much more fun when you can give personal attention like that instead of flittering to all the tables. It was one of the most awesome moments of my job. :)
Angie~ why wouldn't they give kids a wand or sword at dinner?? Dinner is more expensive than lunch or breakfast and the princesses don't go table to table either. It seems like your penalized at dinner. I think I'm cancelling dinner and sticking with CM.

DisneyDreamer2 - First; thanks for your great report! - question if you don't mind? What time was the park open til the night you went to the dinner? I called for reservations for a night that they close the park at 11pm and they had openings for 8:20 & 9:35; do you think we will be rushed through dinner at 8:20 for the 9:35 seating? Also do you think the 9:35 seating would have the firework viewing?

Thanks!

Dinner is more expensive because dinner food is more expensive than breakfast food. If you look around property, dinner is *always* more expensive than breakfast. I'm sorry, but I have no say on the swords and wands thing. Morning is a character meal. Dinner is a wishing presentation.

The night we were there the park closed at 9pm and then was open just for resort guests until midnight for EMH. Wishes was at 9pm. You will not be rushed through dinner (they stagger the reservation times because someone will always be fininsing up- the 935 adr does not get the table the 820 party sat at) As I mentioned we were one of the last three families in the restaurant and while we were finished our waiter kindly kept offering us more to drink and reminded to to stay as long as we liked. I would check the park hours for that night and book the one before Wishes (if Wishes is at 9 take the 820, If Wishes is at 10 take the 935 and arrive at least 15 minutes early.)

Also if you do go within an hour of wishes, they rope off the castle to the public since fireworks are launched from the roof. just tell the CM at the rope and they let you right in. It made the whole experience seem that much more elusive. ;)

And don't forget to give Perla a big smile!
